  • LOL YEAH DUDE BATMAN 4 THE WIN!!!!

  • ME-109s don't have Swastikas on them -.- not the early versions anyways :D learn your history

  • Wonderful video !

I am a Portuguese airplane model builder.

  • Nooo, the best of this stuff is the sound of the machine-guns and here there isn't...

  • German legal institution has banned the swastika. Quite rightly. It just means that I have to pay for extras when I buy kits from Revell. I'm more than happy to do so. On the other side of the coin, I may be contraversial when I say that bravery doesn't take sides. Bader and Johnson had the utmost respect for German airmen whilst having an utter loathing for the Nazi regime for which those airmen fought. Only veterans can understand that paradigm.

  • schlechte Kameraführung, man kann nichts erkennen

  • the better won...mostly the krauts

  • can you apply a 'vintage film' effect overall ...to blur the line between real life and video game chromakey ?

  • You mean to tell me there was an air battle where the Germans actually WON???

    Amazing!!

  • Pollock

  • 0:23 "And.. Action"

  • The probable reason that the Spit lost would be that he fired off most of his ammo in the first few seconds of the fight, even firing when it was in a turn & nowhere near aimed at the Me. So it was defenceless & presumably on the run when it was hit.

  • easily the 2 best planes of the war from both sides

  • go away young one

  • much cooler than warbirds 2012

  • eran peleas de getlemen

  • nice work

  • Nice piece, but if you go to all that trouble for realism, WHY do you make a politically correct Messerschmidt (no Swastika)?

  • @LifeInSpace only pre war 109s had swastika. 1939-1945 they had iron cross..

  • @LifeInSpace Very few if any of the Luftwaffe planes used the Swastika, they used the "Iron Cross".

  • @Jackle61

    WHAT?!

I don't think I've ever seen a Luftwaffe plane, of any description, WITHOUT a swastika on the fin or rudder!

  • @DazDaMan Sorry, my bad. (it's late) Now that I think of it some had small ones on the tail (fin), some had the cross, and some didn't have anything on the tail. (mostly the camo ones)

  • @LifeInSpace yes I agree. I understand that the swastika represents a bad past, but I get annoyed when seeing flight simulators etc without it. what are we going to do? erase all photos in history books of it from photos with it? I don't like the nazi's and what horrible things they did, but lets be real about the history.

  • @LifeInSpace because, to a game released on the market, it must comply with the legislation

  • @LifeInSpace it's so stupid...

  • @LifeInSpace It's a video game ffs. Ask the developers.

  • @LifeInSpace where's the Swastika?

  • @LifeInSpace Yeah its dumb.

  • unless they was no poilet

  • spitfire would win that anyday

  • @The3EnglishLions That is ignorance speaking. The E4 was every bit as good as the MK1 spit.

  • Nice dogfight but its too short. :/

  • The reason why the Messerschmidt climbed into a stall like that was because he knew that he had fuel injection where the spitfire did not. This was one of the few advantages the ME109 had and he exploited it. The spitfires could even experience engine cuts during some violent manouevres when the fuel was thrown away from the pump.

  • @CompactJam douglas bader said that the spitfire 9 could out climb a fokker wulf and ruled supreme for the rest of the war, seeing as he was there i think i'd believe him, the ME109 was'nt as fast or could climb like the wulf, god bless the few,

  • @keanoman1000 The spitfire in the clip only had three props. Earlier model where the fuel could get airlocks.

  • @keanoman1000

Bader never flew a Spitfire IX in wartime. He was shot down in 1941 and remained a PoW until liberated from Colditz in 1945. The Spit IX didn't reach squadrons until 1942.

  • @DazDaMan i didnt say he did fly a spitfire 9' i said he was there so i believe him, i really think sir douglas bader knows more about spitfires than you do, i must say you think that you are a bit of a know it all,

  • @keanoman1000

Know it all? Hardly. Your comment, however, makes out that Bader did fly the Mk.IX in combat. "Seeing as he was there I'd believe him", you said. But he wasn't there, like I said. He would have had to rely on information from other pilots - Johnnie Johnson, to name one - who DID fly the IX in combat. I doubt Bader even saw a '190 in combat over France, when he was flying the Spitfire Va.

  • LUFTWAFFE WINS!!!EVER

  • SUPER PC ONLY!!

  • Finally, a video where the German actually WINS.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tull29 Are you stupid? The 109 won that dog fight, hence the GERMAN comment I made.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tull29 Are you stupid? Seriously. The 109s WERE GERMAN, the Spitfire was ENGLISH. In most videos the Spitfire always wins, but here finally the GERMAN PLANE won the battle. It was a joke you retarded asshole. 3 people gave it a thumbs up because they understand what was a simple comment. But there are always trolls like yourself taking it to a DEE DEE DEE level.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tull29 The reality is the ME109 was developed in Germany, the reality is the Spitfire was developed in England. The reality is in this video the 109 shoots down the Spitfire.

In all seriousness you might be mentally retarded, if you are, then I apologize. It would make sense as to why you don't understand the video or my comment.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tull29 In the VERY early stages it used a British engine, but by 1936 is was fitted with a BMW engine that remained throughout the war. So you think because they used a British made engine in the prototype, that it's a British plane? I guess the P-51 and P40 Hawk are British then, since they both used British engines to power the plane early on. Even if you were correct, which you aren't, what makes you think an engine is the sole factor in determining who's plane it was.

    You know nothing.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tull29 The only thing your comments upset was my intuitive understanding of basic human intelligence. The original comment you began arguing with was simply noting that the German pilot won the dogfight duel in the video, which is in contrast to most videos shown on the same subject, wherein the Allied pilot usually wins. That's it. That's all he was saying. He wasn't saying any more or less than that, and you took it way off the deep end. Silly.

  • @jagovRUS Thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tull29 I wasn't slinging any words, simply clarifying that the losses for those nations involved in the war has nothing to do with this video. That's all. And yes, the graphics are very nice.

  • @Tull29 You just got told idiot.

  • @Tull29 I think at 50 you better go to your doctor and get checked for Alzheimer's.

  • @mrceebees14 - you might want to check some more recent posts (assuming the English language suits you), or at least the civilized version of it.

You might actually learn something but you're right, my handicap holds me back.

    Come on "troll" let's play!

  • @Tull29 14 thumbs up on my comment and counting of people who took a joke, something you can't understand.

Not to mention that other youtuber who had to explain it to you, which you still didn't get.

  • @mrceebees14 are you german?

  • @mrceebees14 Pretty sad though when you have to revert to animation to make it happen!

  • @lander4545

But you know that it took nearly the whole world and six years to destroy the ever losing german army, right?

  • @Asperger0815 The "whole world" wasn't concentrated on the german army for six years. Germany was part of the three main major axis powers which also included Japan and Italy, plus many minor axis powers and co-belligerents vs.the Allied nations.

  • This is AUESOME!

    More! Encore! Encore!

  • Great work!!!

  • I looked past the "All germans are bad, their all nazis!!!" Crap, and instead could care less about which one won. But i don't mind seeing a german plane win atleast ONCE in a dogfight. All these vids about how: Oh the German aircraft never shot down one bomber in WWI or WWII

  • Comment removed

  • Even though the Spitfire got shot down, I hope the Nazi ran out of fuel and crashed...

  • @Eddybargeboy haha...oh wait! loser detected! calm down boy it's just a video if you don't like it don't watch it ok?

  • @MegaKaiser45 Hahaha.... oh wait, bellend detected.

How can I not watch the video after I've watched it, use your brain and think before you write comments that are clearer intended to provoke someone. It was a good video, I was merely stating that it's unusual to see Spitfires shot down in videos like this.

  • @Eddybargeboy And besides I have no brain I'm smarter than you ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @MegaKaiser45 Ok, you keep telling yourself that. ;)

  • 0:38 I love that maneuver :)

  • Excellent work buddy :)

  • Great video. Interesting to us today. A Hell to the pilots then.

  • @Fastelth999 legend pilots, they were in real hell, unnavoided death,

  • Very good, but the spitfire lost! That was very uncommon!

  • Thanks for your reply to my comments.

At 6 years of age I remember vividly being with my mother along with crowds of folk taking pieces from a shot down German Messercchmitt; probably an ME109; after a dog fight above the fields of Kent. I can remember being told by my mother that the local folk and authorities gave the dead german a proper military funeral, which was attended by many folk who had watched fights like this during World War Two. A truly HEROIC time in our history.

    C Mainwaring

  • well done, great vid :)

  • Thats so awesome thanks for the vid it made my day.

    P.s. is that Batman music?

  • @TheEpicDude15 Thank you! Yes, dark knight

  • That's pretty damn detailed. Don't have the "Cliffs of Dover" flight sim cause I saw the reviews weren't that great. I just got "Der Stern von Africa", "Der Eismeerjäger Walter Schuck" and "Operation Overlord". Can't wait to try them out and I actually had to order them through Ebay in Germany cause I can't get them here. Go figure. Problem is I need to find the old version of IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 before I can add those Add-ons. That people is easier said than done. Any hints out there?

  • do this game have a bf 109 e-4 i only see e-3s on this game didnt battle of britain back then have e-4s

  • That was a perfect stall-turn at the top of a climb then launching into another diving attack (hammerhead). This was used especially by German aces (as well as the Immelmann Turn). These tactics turn the attacker into a defensive position because the initial position of the Spitfire in this case was closing at a fast speed which is usually most advantageous...until they follow an ace who knows how to do a controlled stall!

  • Nicely done :)

  • Great video.. but the editing was a little off. The 109 went into a climb and the Spit followed it up. The 109 stalled first and the Spit shold have come down on his 6. The video then switches with the 109 on the Spits 6., and shoots him down. :) Still a great video! Thank you.

  • 'sizzle, sizzle, wonk'. Mick Mannocks' line describing an opponents fiery demise.

  • Only in a animated video would a ME109 win over a spitfire... LOL

  • MACEDONIA IS GREECE

  • THE BF109 WINS AGAIN!!!!! HAHAHHAA....

  • @biltongbru i like this video. truly epic. I was expecting the spitfire to win, glad to see a change of pace with it losing. Both of the planes won and lost in World War 2, not the spitfire always winning, like in hollywood movies.

  • Comment removed

  • A very excellent Dogfight this is!

  • the outcome can alot of times be decided on skill and internl strenth balls

  • Sure this could be one of many battles. But if this was the norm the world would be a different place.

  • this is atually made by a german supporter the spitfire would win in real life

  • @rucajuda you must be american....or british..right??

  • @TheGitakTV No, portuguese

  • @rucajuda you are allied-supporter,why always spitfire need to win? some peoples will think that there is no destroyed spitfire in ww2....

  • @TheGitakTV Yes im allied supporter and so do you are a german/axis supporter

  • @rucajuda yes im axis supporter because im sick of allied lies and propaganda

  • @TheGitakTV Ok, i respec your point of view ;).

  • @rucajuda thanks for understanding :)

  • @rucajuda … a Spitfire never won any battle… ever.

  • @zachariaszut You were there? Ask to some british soldier that was in the battle of london.

  • The Battle of Britain, a draw of sorts, delayed the German push to East and deprived the Luftwaffe from a considerable number of seasoned pilots. The Luftwaffe was never the same after that Battle.

In that sense it the changed the course of the conflict.

  • @rucajuda The Spitfire was a superb plane and with it some Spitfire PILOTS won some duels…

We are addressing each other in English thanks to them… the RAF pilots that is.

But the Bf 109 was also a superb bird.

With these two aircrafts Allied and Axis pilots fought tremendously.

These two planes when well manned provided the platform to a pretty close match.

  • I think Spitfire shoud win ;(

  • Your German aren't you biltongbru

  • THIS IS CLIFFS OF DOVER????????????

  • See why the Spitfire had Six Assault Machine Guns Just to Hit and Speed Run!

  • isnt that game really bugged ? i could not even get it running decently on a powerfull pc

  • I was almost sure the allied plane would win, but I'm glad it didn't. Tired of seeing the same old non-historical allies beating germans.

    Is it Bf-109e ?

  • Hey, that is a beautiful font in the beginning. Could you tell me the name?

  • @FloDanton Paris :)

  • this is the music batman begins lol

  • Na pohybel Dżemojady !

  • when i saw the name Messerscmitt i thought it was the ME-262 LOL !!!!!!!!my mistake

  • good shot

  • Clever little Blighter arn't you!! Nicely done!!! P.s You have too much free time!!!!!

  • Wow, unexpected ending! And epic Dark Knight music!

  • how could you shoot down the spitfire?! spitfire is the best plane ever made and it was made by a GENIUS!

  • @TheNuclearGenocide

In a military history channel TV documentary, fighter plane historians reviewing fighters from WW 1 through the present declare that the P 51D Mustang was rated the best fighter EVER built ! I would have to agree. The Spitfire, indeed a great warbird and was rated within the top ten fighters of history.

  • @MrBBaron Ah yes, but the mustang only became the best after adopting the Spitfire's Merlin engine. Also, Spitfire is the most famous plane ever made without a doubt.

  • @MrBBaron

Why not the Corsair? 1000 mile range, almost equal speed, very maneuverable, and much more robust. Just a pain to land on a carrier!

  • @TheNuclearGenocide spitfires are good planes, but not invincible.

  • Comment removed

  • so, where's the Batman?

  • I would have liked to hear the music of the Merlin and Daimler Benz instead. The developpers often forget to put real sounds, what about the sounds of these warbirds?

  • Bravo! Impressive! Good work

  • How did they green screen themselves?

  • very very good BUT !!!,,YOU SHOULD HAVE HAD THE SPITFIRE SHOOTING DOWN THE KROUT

  • @andeeest205 That's not how you spell Kraut...

  • What's the game?

  • saloperie de bosch

  • Great vdeo...!

Whats the deal with the real humman faces, is it seriously you and your father? lol

    Great work!

  • @OrioN8888887 Humans are green screened in; yes, father and son the "actors" :)

  • @biltongbru cool !

  • MORE!!! BRAVO!!! You have the gift of producing a super video! The music and the cut scenes were superb!

  • NoNoNo Spitfire Should win..

  • @tshk5271221 I thought so too until reading more detail on battle of britain and discovered the top scoring fighter aces in this battle were by german ME 109s, top score 42 hurricanes and spitfires destroyed by leading german ace while the top british score was 17 of which only 9 were ME 109s. Also as stated the ME 109 was at a disadvantage with bomber escort role gave spitfire innitive and they were forbidden to chase, also issues with refueling. So it wasn't this that won the bob.

  • @Oliver9402 well we still won lmao

  • This is a beautiful game if you can get it to run.

  • A2A Simulations Battle of Brittian, or FSX?

  • The video must have been made by a German since Spitfire is being shot down. In reality, Spitfires shoot down most of the ME109s, which stunned Hitler and halted him from invading England. Spitfire was the best prior to the arrival of P-51 Mustang.

  • "The Me109 had 2 machine guns with 1 cannon in its nose, but sometimes they used some additional machine guns in the wings 1pair or they used some pods on their wings." In that point you are right, but in the video-if im not mistaken thats a Bf 109 E4 ->and the armament of the E4 series was two machineguns (MG 17) (How can i say?-sorry im not very good at english) above the engine and two cannons in the wings (MG FF) (Witch was not pods-the pods and nose cannon introduced with the F series.)

  • I have just seen this for the first time, and blimey so p[owerful and at first I thought it was for real, and I'm 75, so remember a lot of the Battles as a child over the Channel and England.

Sorry you got shot down Dad, and well done amazingly good film and so acurate in detail.

    Clive & Pamela S/W France

  • @clivemainwaring Awesome. I'm 45, live in New Zealand, have a 7yo boy of my own now who is fighter-plane mad. We research & watch this kind of thing a LOT, and just started making kitset models together (well, I make them, he offers excited encouragement). I always try and gently impress on him that the dogfights & aircraft are exciting, but those were real Dads and Brothers and Sons in those cockpits and yes, they did die. Would love to hear some experiences from someone who "was there".

  • 0:40 Tut tut tut..... STALL :D:D:D

  • How much guns does a Spitfire have? Me 109s have 2 right?

  • @hongrand Spitfire Mk1 had 8guns 303 cal an then they started to use cannons in late 40s-41

  • @hongrand The Me109 had 2 machine guns with 1 cannon in its nose, but sometimes they used some additional machine guns in the wings 1pair or they used some pods on their wings.

  • @hongrand 2 machine guns and two 20mm cannons for the early models

  • The German did lose more aircraft. The Luftwaffe lost about 600 fighters & 1000 bombers. The RAF lost 600 fighters.I think the BOB was even, contest the reason, need to watch( How Hitler lost the war) their are some some interesting comments made by RAF pilots.Rember the RAF flew these 'Circus Rubarb"mission losing about 700 spits & Hurricnes to the Luftwaffe, they lost 150 this was at end of 1940 to the beginning of 1941

  • The British won largely because of their air defense network-radar stations, air observers and the like which made interceptions more effective. Also fighting over friendly ground meant that any pilots landing were either able to fight another day or taken prisoner(depending on which side you were on) and the strict limitations of the German fighters fuel.Popular opinion has it that the Nazis made these errors because they thought the British would sue for peace.P.S. and also motivation!

  • How did you create the airplanes, explosions etc...?

  • me109 should make long speedy wide turns to be the spit

  • Is that more or less how Pierre Clostermann got shot down in April 1945? Does anyone out there know?

  • very cool!

  • go the germans

  • Beautiful

  • MEJOR TECNICA Y TACTICAS DE LOS PILOTOS ALEMANES!!!!!!!

UN MEJOR VUELO FOR THE GERMAN ACES!!!!!! Luftwaffe!!!!! :)

  • What type of recorder u used? Fraps?

  • @CiprMr yes!

  • Very nice, great work !
