  • A lot of this is inaccurate, especially the fact that it's the future and you're mocking an English speaking computer... really? Also time travel can be complicated, like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey.... stuff. Mocking the unrealistic and impossibilities of movies is what kills movies nowadays. It just makes you a critical, cynical bastard :/ Just try to enjoy the movie dammit!

  • When can we meet "Rosseter II"???

  • Actually, the first movie works if you apply the Novikov self-consistency principle. The basic idea is that time travel cannot *change* the past and no new timelines are created. There is only one timeline, and that is the one in which Kyle Reese gets jiggy with Sarah Connor.

  • @PedanticTwit

Too bad the other movies threw that out of the window.

  • @Sonetodecirene Yeah, well, that's what seems to happen whenever people not involved with an original project are tapped to continue said project. We see it in the Silent Hill series, too. Silent Hill is, at bottom, about the psychological state of one (or more) of the characters involved. And then we have the most recent SH games, which are just about silly monsters or something.

  • @PedanticTwit Off topic of this video.. Silent Hill Homecoming was about the sacrifices which occured, mimicking the sacrifice of Alessa, It studies the psychological state of Alex who broke the chain when he drowned his brother whereas it was he who was to be drowned. You can say it doesn't deserve the title Silent Hill all you want but it's still as much Silent Hill as the rest.

  • I think this movie has 12 monkeys kind of timeline

  • But what if they dont even change the timeline and everything just happend that way?

  • but yeah i wouldnt disagree with what you said.... other than that, yeah everything else is rubbish... and yeah i used to wonder the not puting weapons under the Terminators Skin, since i was like 4 when i first saw Terminator 1 thats over 2 decades and there is no reason one person said to me "lazar need chargin" but i said seems unlikly cudnt make an adaptor, or heck give him an old gun sniper rifle, with robovision & zero muscle spasm, wud be perfect sniper cud shot u from a mile away easy)

  • I always figured the 1st movie was a self contained loop: as he says "Sky-Net's defence network was smashed" (so may have be possible that the main core wasnt yet destroyed), so i figure that minutes before sky-net's core was blown up the terminator was ordered to go back in time (yeah i know it weak as would mean that Skynet could make a Time Hole, but not realise that time travel in this universe follows predeterminism so couldnt change past.)

  • 16:26

    "Is anyone there?

    ...

    Must be my imagination..."

  • Pyramid Head is the real CEO of Skynet. I know this because Tom Hulett said so.

  • 15:25 lol

  • What I thought about when watching Salvation was... how would John talk with Kyle about the circumstances of his birth?

"Yeah, in another timeline I sent you back in time to save my mother. You saved her, had sex with her and... I was born as a result of that... you owe me child support"

"Well, I think your story is batshit insane but the girl in this picture is hot. Do I have a chance to meet her?"

    "Oh you will... sometime..."

  • I love you guys, just found you randomly for your AMAZING Silent hill stuff and now I'm perusing everything else. One thing I think you missed, got close to was:

How did a computer repair flesh on Marcus ssooo fast? WHY? and more importantly Why does the machine shop KNOW how to do this? I suppose to repair infiltration units is the only real answer I'd accept... but generally you don't learn how to fix your enemy...

  • @AlbinoRaven42

Marcus was working for the machines all along... I guess they had a replacement skin layed out on his bed for when he got home?

  • @TwinPerfectChannel I think milk and cookies too

  • @AlbinoRaven42 Check the toyline for "Bio-Flesh Regenerator".

  • Haha this is awesome, you guys should make more of these, one of Back to the Future would be awesome, I love BTTF and am constantly finding irregularities

  • Put the nard said it sould of end at terminator 2 thay destoryed skynet.

  • "Phyzicka Kahn Tact" Priceless.

  • John and Kate plus eight. Hur hurr.

  • The worst part of this all... I hear there is to be another GOD DAMN MOVIE....>_>

  • man all movies have some imposible stuff in them and you're talking abouth something that is never been done no one is never been able to travel in time, you're just making your own rules of time traveling because there are no real rulesis besides in dragon ball z you can find some explanation the travels were betwen parallel universes not time

  • @adam24company

Well, if you're going with the multiple-universe theory, then the machines wouldn't be so desparate to kill John Connor because it wouldn't work. They'd be killing a different univers's John Connor, leaving theirs alive to destroy them. How would that help them win the war?

  • Wow. Just wow.

  • I never really watched Terminator...

  • That last part was hilarious!

  • Great! Pls make more like this :D

  • 16:23 Probably just the wind xD

  • Fungoooo! I'm glad your working with Rosseter, but when are you making another horror game review? Will there be any thing on Twin Perfect Channel like that?

Great video too! You guys always know how to make the greatest time.

  • Haha, this video is awesome. I never noticed these flaws before, but I still enjoy the movies just the same!

  • There may be flaws but...I still find the movies enjoyable. It's almost to be expected, when dealing with something as complex as time travel. :D

  • 10w 40 lmao

  • this is epic good job guys!!

  • 3:50 always makes me lol no matter how many times I see it. BTW Reese was always John's father, this is inevitable and Skynet knows this. And Sarah Connor Chronicles was a great show.

  • The original timeline involved no time-travel, and we doubt Kyle sired a child older than he was...

  • i would agree with these comments. RE all the way.

  • Aww nothing on why a robot has such a fruity accent? lol

  • I wouldn't say no to a RE movies or the video games. L=

  • Anyway, the movies are good :D

  • Awesome!! You guys should do something on the Resident Evil series!

  • please do the RE movies and or video-games

  • I kind of agree... but at the same time I don't, I mean, James Cameron tied the noose around the neck of the series with T2, but Hollywood messed everything up with T3 using that whole loophole of "Judgement Day is inevitable.", granted I love T3 for what it is, but the franchise was way better before T3 came out, not to mention Terminator Salvation was supposed to take place before the first movie, as in before Kyle Reese got sent back but I love the Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty reference

  • I've watched all the Terminator movies but I was never aware of the timeline. Is hard to keep up with the story.

  • On a side note, I'm surprised Fungo didn't bring up the T-X was also a badly played Dhampir in a horribly executed Video Game movie directed by Uwe Boll. (remember Alone in the Dark?)

  • I don't know how you guys come up with this stuff, but I love you for it!

  • Thank God, Twin Perfect you did another thing I agree on, Terminator the movie great but The Sarah Chronicles, WTF that series made no sense at all and the timeline for Terminator is all crazy too, Salvation Really tried to make sense but it floped and Great use of Metal Gear, Haha, Question will you do a Metal Gear Montage like video ?

  • Needs moar Der Fuzhwar!

  • @ORTmusic

He was away at the beard-spa for this one.

  • @TwinPerfectChannel Question. How much C4 does it take to blow up one super computer?

  • That was brutal, because I loves my Terminator 2!! But, you make some hilarious points! :D Kyle, Kyle...KKKYYYYLLLEEEE!!!!!

  • I think they were trying to imply that John and Kate plus 8 (lol) initially survived the nuclear blast because of Kate's father. Like he took them with him to the VIP fall out shelter....for some reason.....

Yeah, other than that, I agree with everything in this video. Terminator is an awesome series, but their logic falls short....constantly. :D

  • @SilentHillWren

Indeedie doo. Terminator 3 may be horrifically stupid, but it's still a really fun movie. Who doesn't like heavy robots demolishing a bathroom while throwing each other around?

  • Fission mailed :D

  • Once again you guys create an awesome video, keep 'em coming

  • Oh wow. No wonder I never got the gall up to sit through all these movies. It took like 15 min.s of Terminator 2 to convince it was a pile.

Great review though! Always look forward to your videos, guys.

  • Love the videos keep up the good work

  • I think a lot like the Silent Hill stuff, you might be overdoing this a bit. The fact remains that most of this is true, and Terminator was pretty ridiculous from the beginning. Most of it's been common knowledge for quite awhile too though. Mostly entertaining regardless.

  • 15:00

I had the exact thoughts about Cylons in Battlestar Galactica (the modern one). It's a pretty dumb concept to make 1000s of robots with the same face to infiltrate.

  • @Mezurya

Apparently it wasn't the original intent. It's as if the T-800 sent back in the second movie was, by chance, the same one from the first. And then there's the unbelievable coincidence that the same T-800 was again sent back to the 3rd movie, and then the ASTRONOMICAL coincidence that John Connor busted into Skynet Central on the very day that same T-800 rolled off the line in the 4th. Or just get a new guy...

  • Hahahaha, nice review, guys!

T3 and Salvation SUCKS sooo bad!

And yeah, that thing with Arnold in the second one is a huge mistake xD

  • Man I thought of alot of that myself, though I've only seen 3 and Salvation once each, and have been watching the first 2 for decades. The only thing I think you mistook was in Salvation with their "Best Machines" I think it may've been referring to machines they built before sending the Infiltrators into the past. I'm sure the 600 was one of those machines. course they had the same problem as the 800's, they're all huge and have rubber skin and mass produced.....yeah he's human....

  • @Taraka1

Pretty sure the "best machines" Skynet is talking about are the advanced models (T-800, T-100, T-X) that have failed time and again to complete "a mission" (to kill John Connor). The movie was written under the assumption that Skynet is not only aware of John Connor's importance, but also of the 3 previous movies. Impossible.

  • @TwinPerfectChannel

Yeah I forgot his position in Salvation. When you put it that way the only way they'd have the SLIGHTEST clue is from the CPU from the first Terminator, but that was tossed into molten steel. And I'm assuming Cyberdyne never accessed it, since Dyson said it gave them ideas.

  • Is it common terminology or was the title influenced by TV Tropes?

  • YAY! I've missed you, Fungo.
