I've just put in some little pitbull plecos - they are a bit tougher than otos and don't trash the plants in the same way bristlenoses can.

ur tank looks really clean and nice SAE, i can see u got some algae on the glass. ive heard the bristle nose pleco is pretty good for planted aquarium, they eat off the algae on glass and blah blah blah, do u have oto cats, they are also good 2. anyways 5 star

im getting 1 SAE, and 1 Otto. but how good is a bristle nose pleco?

i got a bristle nose pleco. hes small. not as big as the common plecos. which is perfect for planted tank. he had never touched any plants at all. about 2-3 inch. from the head to the tail. wont get bigger than that. ohh the SAE is not really that aggressive. i had 4 SAE and 6 ottos, and a bristle nose pleco in my 36 gallon tank.
