  • i think the genesis story can also be construed as a conviction of morality, telling man to control your women "or else"

  • what a load of silly manure this man's teachings are.

  • @ajones123ful Your mother.

  • The 1st suggested video is '...and I'm a Mormon." Are you fucking kidding me?!??

  • This is so true, psychedelics are the forbidden fruit.

the forbidden fruit makes you aware of good and evil and the fact your naked, just how psychedelics let you face your true (naked) self. And for some reason the government (god) doesn't want us to see this and makes it forbidden.

  • what is the name/origin of that last picture? GREAT video, by the way. much love and peace :)

  • @Gaia1986 thanks for the incredible vids, I get the feeling that Terence always knew that the Internet would play an integral role in the re-liberation of humanity, and I admire you for taking the time to "boldly launch your meme" (as Terence might say;) into the public sphere. These videos are great resources that really exemplify and extrapolate the core of McKenna's thought. Bravo.

  • what is the picture called on 0:44?

  • anybody want to know what the galactic alignment of 1998 means come over to jagball22 and watch 1998 galactic alignment make sure you start with part one first there are four parts

  • the art is so beautifull. terence was a genius

  • What about the one at 0:44?

  • hahaha holy shit hes so fucking right oh my god i never knew

  • interesting stuff... but mckenna saying that eve's forbidden fruit or tree of knowledge is shrooms, is kinda pushing it...

  • @roskotaint its not about the fruit tree being a shroom. Its symbolic. The culture engineers are telling us - Do not to fuck with our system and be obedient. If you take any of the substances we have demonised and called "illegal" (marijuana, dmt, salvia, mushrooms.. and all other consciousness altering or mind opening "drugs") you will be cast out of society, you are on your own, you dont fit in, you need to be locked up etc.. I hope that makes sense.

  • @nick11ification tru that shit righ der!~!!

  • @roskotaint The entire story of genesis is pushing it, dude. McKenna wasn't correcting the story, he doesn't even believe the story, he was picking apart what the story could actually mean.

  • if you've ever seen the tree of life lecture- i think it is very interesting that terrence proposed that mead or alcohol was the factor responsible for tearing culture from this paleolithic style of life.It does theoretically make sense. look at the short term affects of alcohol compared to psilocybin mushrooms. it's less patient,a custom by social desires and gives persons an excuse to act out of character.

psilocybin will destroy u if u try to use it for such shenanigans.disciplineit teaches

  • Nice. What is the name of the song at the end of this podcast. I have been looking for it for years.

  • He utilises some common words poetically to shape thoughts of the future;

    a 21st C - prophet?

  • very true cheers junglesurfer

  • My view is that man went from the shamanistic psychedelic centered culture to where we find ourselves today due to the fact that those who could not successfully integrate the psychedelic experience with the "real" world were banished from the group. Not being accepted elsewhere they would band together. Among them things like murder, rape and theft came to be. And eventually they waged the first war and eventually won. And here we are.

  • @PhlegmTXDM not really but good try though, it started from the nomads, i wuld give u the link but idk which vid it was, just keep watching more of terence's vids im sure ul find it.

  • god was history's first cop. I feel that it is his mission to separate us and divide us and keep us fighting so we cant see the obvious truth: we, as both individuals and as a species, are no more special than each individual blade of grass on our lawns. Women and men are equal, but different. We are parts of a whole being which without the other is not whole, is lacking something vital. For the record, radical feminism is just as stupid as the idea that women are property and not human beings.

  • @AliceInBlotterLand when I hear word god,it makes me sick....because I know people don't think with their own head and are brainwashed...there is no god! would you belive in God if no one would ever told you about it? I dont think so...all religious wars were committed by people, arguing about who has bigger imaginery friend!

  • @rizlas2 the word god is a problem for you becuase of the restrictions of human language

  • Psylocibin Mushroom:fruit of the gods. adamand eve: forbidden fruit = psychadelics.

  • Mckenna should have been smarter than to fall into the trap of radical feminism, it simply reversed the roles of the perceived oppressed and the perceived oppressor. What you now have today because of it is unashamed male-bashing, denigration of masculinity and fatherhood, and stereotypical portrayals of males as being dim-witted, oversexed simpletons. If you don't believe me, turn on a television set for five minutes. Commercials and sitcoms across the board are filled with this garbage.

  • @byron84

I think you're right but it's a superficial analysis I think. Perhaps it's just that the pendulum has swung to the other extreme due to thousands of years of oppression (very generally speaking) of femininity. But hey, the idea of sexual equality is still rather new historically. So I think it is no wonder that there is so much imbalance and misunderstanding. But you may be right, I don't think I have heard McKenna hold masculinity in much of a favorable light.

  • @byron84

Agreed. I absolutely love TM and what he gave us, but I think this is one of the areas where he slipped. He should have known better than to fall for the trap of siding with the yin just because so many people abused the yang. He himself stated that the truth of the Taijitu lies on the line in between.

Fortunately, I'm seeing signs that a lot of people are starting to see through this error.

  • But this can be attributed to the flaw of culture, which McKenna went into extensively: the promotion of equality amongst all cannot exist within our culture, apart from creating the illusion of a homogenous species. The abuse of males in our society is simply proof for this concept.

  • Makes perfect sense...as Terence does so well!

  • Terence Mckenna is God

  • Let's say "a very good expression of it" ;)

  • and the next one!

  • Awesome painting at 0:39 who made it?

  • looks to be european renaissance art

  • "The March of Progress by Mark Henson" :) It IS an incredible picture!

    from Gaia1986

    ;)

  • thanks!

  • @Phinuix

It could be Alex Grey, although I'm not sure.

  • terence. oh terence..

  • Cain did go to the Land of Nod.

  • omg are you talking about tiberian sun I LOVE THAT GAME!

  • really cool trippy art

  • to krahl his talkin bout the

    story of adam and eve

wut hes basically saying in more simple way (sorry for my english im in peru)

i guess wutt he meansis hes referin to the biblical story of adam & eve as historys first drug bust

meanin that before bible was created or established drug consumption was regular an not frownedupon

dating back to when(as acordin to terence)thanx to psilocybin fungi we evolved into modern [language/art/theory making]primate

  • whats the name of the story he is talking about?

  • ah, dude, i now see the problem. my very first contact to you never made it through, just wasn´t posted and thus never made it into your email account.

my initial response to you was:

"sorry if I don´t get your irony here, if you´re NOT kidding, the answer to you question is ´the bible, book of genesis, adam n eve´" or something like that.

    I hope you now understand...

  • i'm pretty sure its adam & eve. "(genesis 9:20-21) noah, a man of the soil, was the first to plant a vineyard. when he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and layed uncovered inside his tent."-jie jack li, laughing gas, viagra, & lipitor.

  • Brilliant. Just brilliant.

I had never noticed that story was the foundation of massive fear.

  • painandink37- eat some sacred mushrooms and that picture will appear in your mind in animated phosphorescent 3D!.... ;-)

  • a true free thinker-a guardian of real freedom.

  • @acidsunrise The Truth sets you free not lies! Prophecy, that you reject, is A Witness to TRUTH! Whites are leashing hell on planet earth - only when this hell comes upon white people will white people realize that they have been deceived, by their own corrupt minds!

  • Can we get the name of the picture at 0:40?

  • "The March of Progress by Mark Henson" :) It IS an incredible picture!

  • @Gaia1986 for shizzle

it's like the bear just to the left behind the giraffe is going "what the fuuuuuck!"

    ( : o

  • @painandink37 I KNOW RIGHT!

  • I miss him so much... But as long as there are people with an open mind and the fire od curiosity burning, his ideals will survive.

"How do we fight back? By creating art."

    - Terence McKenna

  • That's a great quote.

  • Yes, the memes he handed down to us are ever expanding, growing, changing and evolving into more and more complex forms. He would be delighted to know how many people he will touch with his words! And I have no doubt that whichever reality-tunnel he finds himself currently inhabiting is all the richer for his intelligent, humorous spirit.

  • After I watched McKenna talk on drugs, I went to holland to buy some mushrooms. Coincidentally, they were called Mckenna too!

And when I got home, I coincidentaly watched the movie the celestine prophecy, and I cant explain it in this box, but after 2 hours I had an experience which prooved to me the existance of something which can be referred to as "God"!

Thank you Mckenna, for helping me on my enlightened path

  • Completely mind-controlled from the moment you were born. You are clearly young. You have a lot of pain, frustration, confusion, devestation, and humility to go through before you even begin to attempt to realize what Terence tried to accomplish. Keep shooting that gun until then.

  • @airtemplar When people say "Open minded" they mean open to The Lie, which, in essence, closes your mind to The Truth!! So you are being close minded!!

  • doesnt he just sum up so eloquently this mess were all in, thankyou so much terence, without you life would be so meaningless and id just be a shopperholic or some other dumbshit working myself into an early grave

  • can you tell me where you got that picture of the animals running? its crazy

  • Terence Mckenna thank you for your incite, if only everyone had a chance to listen to his lectures with an open mind. RIP

  • Wonderful pun, even if not intended, which I am not assuming. His insight did incite many to action in removing themselves from the clutches of cultural anonymity (sheepledom), as in: "only the mediocre are always at their best."

  • What lecture is this from? thanks for uploading

  • I think its called the search for the original tree of knowledge...try deoxy (dot) org !!! good luck and enjoy!

  • I think Mr Mckenna is onto something here :)

    I love this guy!

  • So the tree of knowledge was actually the herb of knowledge?!

  • yea herbal mushrooms :)

  • Try finding excerpts from the interview called Food of The Gods, from his book of same title. He touches the subject of human evolution through psychedelic fungi.

  • the duderinok (that's his account name) has the whole interview posted on you tube. just search food of the gods!

  • That picture with the animals running was awesome. Where could I find that?

  • much love

  • yo, that rules!
