  • Oh so the choking pressure comes from you plowing your shoulder up. No wonder i couldn't choke the person.

    Is that the same way to apply pressure when doing the head and arm triangle too?

  • Yea, the shoulder + the angle of the arm under his head... that's what creates the power in this move. Avoid over-using biceps strength!

  • So if I do the head and arm triangle I should first squeeze my elbows together to tighten things up and then the real pressure comes from driving the shoulder up. okay

    I used to think it backwards and I thought the main pressure came from squeezing the elbows together, thanks!!
