I've had a problem with my PSP 2000 (5.50 GEN-D3 FW, when I turned it on, the power light was green, the backlight of the screen was on, but the screen was black. I tried to remove and insert the battery and some other troubleshooting, then I just removed the memory stick and tried to turn it on again and the screen was working, then I inserted the memory stick again and everything was working fine. :O

@zonda2323 Totally correct!! All you need to do is use Youtube and search for video on changing your battery into a pandora battery. All it requires is for one trace to be cut after you open the battery compartment. And you can backup your memory stick and use the free program PSPgrader which will make the Magic Memory Stick in two button presses, one if you put the update "eboot" in the same folder with the PSPgrader program.

Search Youtube under the3 key words "How to make a pandora battery" and find the videos (yes, there's more than one) that detail opening the battery compartment and cutting one trace located by the numbers 1004. By the way, a normal battery and a pandora battery are essential the same thing except the pandora battery has an address change OXFFFFFF.
