I hate it when people say the Yanks aren't fighting fair because they have better tech. If you wanna talk about unfair, what about dressing as civilians, leaving bombs in public places, using children and women for cover and punishing innocents caught in the crossfire- because thats the talib's preferred tactics. If the odds were reversed, you can be sure the talibs would use air support, but Americans would NEVER endanger the lives of civys for their own safety.

@TheCannibalector You use every tool that you have to get as many of your men home alive and unwounded as you can. The most powerful weapon that a squad has is the RTO radio operator being able to call for medivac for wounded,or to bring forces to bear on the enemy once hes found ironicly the taliban could have chosen not to open fire and lived another day

ukurbanfarmer, a strategic superiour position can allow 1 men to be a danger to over hundred enemy& if you have the means to nullify his position by using a helicopter, why not? I'd rather have a leader that eliminates as much threat to his men as he can while increases the amount of danger for the enemy. Medal hungry officers unnecessarily put their men at risk like in Generation Kill sending recon troops to secure a city while armored units were just parked on the side of the road.

@Gunnut321 Good question, it was more about shootouts...I suppose some of those long shots could be considered sniping *shrug* a better doc on sniping alone is "Sniper - Inside the Crosshairs" (I think that's the one they point out the longest ever sniper hit was, at the time, 2,430 m, it was since topped by a Brit in 2009 at 2,475 m)...but hey, this is a cool show too so I'm good... :)
