But for creating the sounds + effects you need to master many and somehow difficult different VSTPlugins, and that makes the producing a bit harder than e.g. handsup.

Whether or not this type of music stimulates emotion in the listener (which is what music is about) is completely subjective. Personally, I could never connect to an electronic song beyond dancing to it in a club; but that's why I feel it has a time and place. Music helps me get through my day, whatever emotion I'm feeling; and for me this music does nothing. Having said that, if you can relate to it, everyone should respect that. Anyone who knows about the process of creating this type of music will tell you that. It really goes beyond hitting buttons - they often extensively manipulate and layer sounds, create sounds from scratch, and track in ridiculous amounts of automation. All of this takes time, skill, a good ear, and years to perfect. Most people would equate that to having some degree of talent.
