Heh. I just recorded this little TMBG cover because I was bored one day. We actually redid it on our new album, Exploding Head Syndrome because we liked playing it so much. I'm not fond of this version anymore, but it's cool that people still dig this video. And the animation is still pretty cool.

They're musicians, not clairvoyants. The original song came out about three years before Rebecca Black began making a name for herself, and it was based on an old folk tune to boot. Even Exploding Head Syndrome (where this cover can be found) came out a good six months shy of her first single.

Good on you, though. I respect her as a person, but even her post "Friday" stuff never really caught on with me.

Rest assured, they're nowheres near as obnoxious as "Friday;" last time I checked, they even canned the autotune, and she sounds a lot better without it.

Cut him some slack. As is said in the description, he made it with MS Paint and Windows Movie Maker. That isn't exactly the best way to get smooth animation.

And as for the trumpet thing, so what? It's a music video, it doesn't have to fit reality.
