The material used is .7mm stainless steel which will warp slightly under direct heat, no matter the cooker. Much less than standard steel. The warping doesn't effect performance, and the unit will still clip together correctly. A thicker guage would only add weight and give no benefits. I know, I've made prototypes up to 1.2mm!!

It's primary designed as a wood burning stove but can be used as a stand/windshield for other types of stoves.

thx for the review! looks like a waste of money to me. the innner plates shoulda been a thicker guage, thats the only flaw ive seen so far
