Wow you seem to have a lot of haters on here. Under serous boost I would agree with some. These are clearly guys who don't drive a C6 every day. I beat the living shit out of my 2006 C6 pretty much every day and put 45,000 Miles on it before trading up. For all the mechanics or want to be C6 owners talking shit. The Z06 has a 8.75 inch ring gear. If a Mustang with an stock 8.8 can handle 1,000 hp on DR.s Im sure this guys axle will stand up just fine. Not to mention many forged engine parts.

@arkansasrazorbackfan Putting a cam, valvesprings, and pushrods in an LS7 isn't that expensive, you're looking at around 550-600 bucks total for all of the above. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend that you don't treat your car like this guy if you plan on daily driving it because if you do it'll last about 5,000 - 10,000 miles before you have to rebuild the top half of your engine.

@arkansasrazorbackfan Alternatively, if you DO plan on beating the trash out of your car, I'd recommend going with a high compression build. Go ahead and get a set of World Product heads, forged pistons/rods/crankshaft, and a good set of roller-rockers. This will run you about $10,000 if you have a shop do it for you. If you're on a budget you can port your stock heads and save about $3,500.. Make sure you tell the shop owner your driving style so he can tune your car accordingly..
