reef sharks are not really dangerous. they are actually declared safe to swim with, although those black tips are slightly more aggressive than a normal reef shark, but still not much to fear
I'm 40 years old. I went on a shark dive in Nassau, Bahamas with "Dive Dive Dive" in October of 1993 after graduating from NWMSU. I can honestly say that dive was one of the coolest things I have been privileged to participate in over the years.
Thanks. I cut this together on the boat for the video contest. I didn't learn until a few hours before the deadline that it had to be limited to 2 minutes! T'was OK. The 2 minute cut still won. :) I'd be back on the boat this November or December if the company would waive the single-supplement, or cut it down to $100, for a last-minute boat short of passengers...
You can adoptashark online at this website called adoptashark, I adopted a hammerhead with a satellite tag, very cool, they tell you where it went and how deep etc.
2Narced, thanks for uploading this. I worked on the Cat during -03 & -04 so lots of old memories came back. Good shot of Cp Ron and his Nikonos V there!!!
Very nice piece of work. Congratulations.
