I don't think you can really compare the two: Scared Stupid or Goes to Jail becauase they are both great films along with the others. I'm a huge Jim Varney fan and may he R.I.P.

yeah I love Jim Varney. He kicked ass as Ernest. And i agree with tylervoodou, there's enough shit talking on youtube as it is, but leave jim varney alone. Varney was the man, and I have a lot of fond memories of growing up watching his movies. Nobody fucks with Ernest!!
One thing I have noticed is that no one has had anything negative to say about Jim Varney on Youtube. A lot of people on youtube like to say "that sucks", "this is stupid", and "You are dumb". Of course, the grammer is never correct. But Jim seems to have had a positive inpact on everyone. Not too many other people have that. I loved this guy, and obviously everybody else did, too.
I have noticed that too and it really makes me happy to see. I never realized what kind of impact he was making on children with his movies until the last decade as many of them are now adults and can reflect on the positive influence he had on them.

No, Ernest scared stupid is the Halloween special. Ernest goes to camp is where he saves the camp from the corporation and they build the vehicle with a catapult on it. Ernest scared stupid is where he builds a treehouse on a haunted tree (Troll Grave). The trolls comes to life because ernest distured his grave.
