Gundam marker is for novice and it wont come great as those gundam on the video. If you want your gundam look great you need to spend time and money on paints and right equipment. people has different style and use different stuff and trust me they wont tell you all the detail but maybe some tips.

Painting is a long process. To say it in a few sentences, you need an airbrush kit to apply thin coats of what ever color you want until you reach the desired shade. You then add what ever effects you want such as weathering and shading to the model. If you look at the shadowing of the providence in 3:13ish you can see shadowing at its finest. Weathering is the process where you make your gundam look like as if it got beaten 20 times. You do this by scratching and burning your model.

i honestly hate white which sadly is what fucking colour most models are made from. the stupid paint doesnt cover up the colour of the parts and i end up having the part colour showing through the white, then i splash layers and layers and eventually the paint turns into fucking paste and if i touch it which i will accidentally do then i have my finger prints all over it which is just fucking retardesd! MY MODEL HAS SO MANY FUCKING FINGER PRINTS IT SUCKS SHIT

lol that because you dont know shit about airbrushing, 1º you must apply the primary and if you want to know more just look for toturials to airbrushing, dont paint your gundams with pencil or if you dont know a shit about paiting dont paint at all, i have the infinite justice without paint and it looks great, and about the japanese instructions your right thet shoud put english at lest in the coulors but again if you look in the net you will find ppl that translates
