  • Thats insane

  • That's unreal

  • @djeq721 Wow! I was thinking about the reply I could find for this video and yours just fit perfectly. Well done, you and the driver! ;)

  • oh my god :D

  • wtf, that is soooo tight?!

  • @WNxKaos

    thats what he said

  • The current record is 35.95 and that was set on 21/6/09.

  • I remember being at Doune when there was a Ford GT40 doing the climb. That was something!

  • Wow... It might only be 42 seconds, but those are some intense 42 seconds !...

  • yikes. i think i shit myself just watching this

  • ya gotta be semi-retarded to drive that

  • tags: ad driving

LOL, so true! Great video, thanks!

    dc

  • mad driving that is, no way to edit apparently.

  • thts the pibeam mp88 my dads friend drives that thing

  • Its Not a Pilbeam mp88, its a Gould Gr 55 with a 3.5 ltr Nicholson mclaren v8 engine. The driver is Martin Groves who shares the car with Paul Ranson.

  • This is insane, especially in an open-wheel vehicle. Insane! I bow to the courage of the driver.

  • au sa mere c'est quoi cettee route, vaut mieux pas se manquer la

  • C'est un petit route privee, en Ecosse.

  • Nice vid, great run. Live just 1.5 miles from the hill, and been going for near on 25 years now, watching Priaulx senior and junior, Pilbeams, Imps the lot. Just one thing, we're not "near Edinburgh" - we're over 40 miles from Edinburgh. Near Stirling perhaps? (Only 8 miles..??) Why does everything in Scotland have to be "near" Glasgow or Edinburgh???? Grrrr.... :o)

  • Great little run through the hills! And so close to Edinburgh! But why do people use E as a reference? Because it is well known around the world, and Stirling is not. I drive my kids more than 20miles to school, so 40 miles IS quite close. Only maybe not to parochial village dwellers...

  • Yeah but you live in a HUGE country where 40 miles means nothing. Doune is as the poster said is nowhere near Edinburgh or Glasgow. If people don't know where Stirling is they can always Google for it.
