I'd love to hear Mr. Barton's singing voice and timing as his tubby frame was stuffed in a harness and yanked all over the stage. Hopefully Mr. Barton realizes this is just a child and that she will continue to grow and develop in spite of unsolicited criticism from miserable old men who apparently strike out. It says much about Mr. Barton that he would offer criticism of any kind toward a youth performer or youth theater in general, especially when the future of theater is so imperiled.
And yes, I sure her parents were "impressed." All the parents that saw this girl were "impressed," as evidenced by the "impressive" turnout as the show built on it's run. You see Mr. Barton, if a show builds during it's run, the theater makes money and doesn't go out of 'business.' If you and your shows were more than just "rude" commentary, maybe you wouldn't have had to close your theater company, as you most likely will with your new company as well. I'm sure your parents will be unimpressed.
@rmdavebarton Apparently not enough people were impressed with Mr. Dave Barton's "Rude Guerilla Theater" to keep it afloat. It went belly-up. And one has to wonder why this rude old windbag is staring at postings of children's theater anyway. But from somehow who watched the PV sophomore numerous times, she did a phenomenal job and I'd pay to see her do it again (something apparently lacking from your patrons).
This has to be one of my favorite versions.

not particularly impressed with the PV sophomore. No timing, less voice. I'm sure her parents were very impressed.
