It takes place a month after Assassin's Creed 1 and it's for the PSP. The reason Altair's voice sounds bad is because Lucy states that there are some bugs in the Animus, and it's explained that the Animus translates the necessary dialogue into English. (isn't really an American accent, more of a modern global dialect) Altair has a global accent in AC:1 is because it's through the Animus, while these mini-games are just side stories of him thus why he speaks so Arabic-like.

@Frederik190 There is no Assassin's Creed 3 for PSP or any other game system. Unless you mean Brotherhood, that's more like a 2.5. Brotherhood is way better than this but it is on 3rd gen consoles.
