isn't it illegal to metal detect in places anywhere that isn't your property? i looked it up on google and it is illegal in Arizona where i live :( should i just do it anyway?
2 things 1 this guy has to fucking dig madd deed for a 10 cent 2 and when i watched this video it made me feel like I was watching something on Discovrey Channel
I like what you do and also this vid but what will you do if a killer is out there or how about a big bear you should have a gun or some friends with you I do hunt but always ready for anything you never know if someone is looking at you please pay me attention before is to late is not to get you scare but to get you worried thanks for the vid
I guess 12 cents is better than nothing at all. I don't look at just the finding money aspect of it. I love the outdoors and nature part of it. I have seen lots of animals, like deer, fox, pheasants and have been as close at 5 feet to a wild red fox, now that was awesome and have been tracked by a coyote.
Anyway it is a lot of fun just to get out even if it's only pennies a day. I have also had some pay days with gold rings. and old silver coins.
I wouldn't have thought that the deep woods would be a place to metal detect. More places where large numbers of people are likely to have dropped their stuff.
My roommate and I dig for scrap metal in order to make money here in Canada. I know that people in the US are having economic troubles. You wouldn't believe the scrap metal you can find. Just a thought for those having a hard time and looking to make a few bucks.
Disc brake rotors. Metal pipes. Any plate steel. Anything that is made out of metal and has weight to it. Copper from old wiring is good. You have to strip the insulation off of the copper wire.We have even taken metal from rail road sites. The old spikes add up to a lot of weight.
I am happy that you do it for environmental reason. However I posted more so for those that are hurting economically. Here in Canada things are bad as well. My roommate and I have survived the last few months only because we could find scrap metal to take in and make money.
Nope, I'm not the Nutnfancy gun. I'm pretty new to the metal detecting scene. Always wanting to get into it. My wife lost her wedding ring, which gave me a great opportunity to get one. I found the wedding ring within 5 minutes. Now, I've been off search other places and learning how to use it better. Found a 1982 penny the other day. :)
i got a bounty hunter metal detector and i found 10 carrot gold at the old panther lake and i dug up a tunnel thing and i think the goverment hi gold bars there so responed if you fined gold
I know what you mean. Sometimes you never can tell I have found silver and old coppers in the shallow areas and then modern clad coins up to 7-8 inches. That is usually why I will dig most all coins both shallow and deep, because you never know when it might be something good.
A penny is better then JUNK any day!! There are SOOO many nice spots by me I could hunt in the woods... But I AM the BIGGEST chicken an wont go alone!! LOL Nice hunt and video...... OMG a COYTE? You weren't scared he was gonna run you down???

Thanks, I didn't think about this. I do this also for environmental reasons... I didn't realize how dirty the earth is until I start to metal detect!

Glad you enjoyed the video and hope you find something in the mountains.
One question, are you the same guy that produces the Nutnfacny gun and knife review videos?
