I did this song at a camp with a different ending and a four part harmony. Much better... But they performed it well, they had good voices. Could've used a little more acting, but that was probably just the camera not picking up their emotions.... GREAT JOB!

I am a musical theatre fanatic and have preformed in many stage shows. So I have to say that they are very good singing wise but the acting is not amazing. Also the song is very fast and it would be much better if they slowed it down. Also the ending is pretty bad compared to the rest of the song. If you listen to the actual song itself then it finished with just as much energy as it started with possibly more. To me sadly this ending it not very good.

and they're all individual, which is the style of the song... try listening to the lyrics. and that's why they sound out of pitch- they all have different vibratos and vowel shapes. they're not doing choral singing.

Yeah they are all similar. Umich definately looks for and produces a certain type of student. More so in the males then the females. But all of them have skills and I enjoy watching them perform.

Uhm, that's not even remotely true. From what I've seen in the college process, Michigan more than any school stresses individuality. That's partly why their graduates are so successful. And especially saying that the guys are all the same seems weird. I mean, if you look at alumni Barrett Foa and Alex Gemignani were in shows together at school, I'm not sure how much wider of a spectrum you want to get as far as types go.

Of the people I know who go there, all seem REALLY individual.

umm... UMich's program is, without a doubt, one of the hardest programs to get into. They're also known for being the best.

This year, over 700 people applied, and then over 500 auditioned. (you have to be accepted to the university first) So, the numbers aren't as big as some think, but they're still pretty small. especially considering the fact that they only accept 16 each year.
