The real impact of Hitler on history of mankind, is that people will continue discussing, adoring, hating .... whatever you feel like! None did before, none will ever again gather a whole country
behind one man. Within a thousand years He will still raise questions! Nations will always fear the return of such a charismatic man. But most of all those "ruling in the shadow" and destroying this planet in the name of "profit for the few" realize the danger of what he almost achieved.. He lives on!
it feels so strange watching this video, knowing it happened in the city I live today. my friend and I wandered around near the abandoned rally party grounds at night and the first time I went past the ruins on the bus (at that time I didn't know what I was looking at), I had chills running down my spine. it really has a negative energy coming from it. also, there's the annual rock music festival "Rock im Park" at Zeppelinfeld. awesome and creepy at the same time xD
@TheSerpentSeedHasWon none of these deaths were intentional, remember with the disruption caused by the allied bombardment the german infrastructure went into collapse and thus typhus became a disease in all of camps and common among inmates
without hitler and the nazi party today germany may not even be reconised as one of the great countries of the world he put germany back on the map post 1932 economic crisis he took over in 1933 he unlike mussolini knew what he wanted and was willing to go to all lenghts to get it. he created millions of jobs in 1932 a huge sum of all german were umemployed by 1940 none were everyone was employed he like stallin was too power hungry which proved to be his downfall
@keanoman1000 Read a History book , He Created Autobans which are motorways , creating huge employment , just think of all the employment involved in putting together the rallies , along with many more. True he was a cruel man , but his achievements were astonoshing
@IRISHMARKSMAN446 you just dont get it do you, he built the AUTOBAHN's and put millions into re-arming, tanks, guns, planes, all government spending, there was'nt any money coming in, only going out, when the AUTOBAHN's were finished there was no more work, somebody had to pay for it, he was already planning to invade poland, first you need to learn to spell,
Yes, the Nazis created millions of jobs (almost entirely in the armaments industry - the civilian job-creation programmes were more propaganda than fact), but the wages were dire and the working conditions were terrible. The German version of "Workfare" rather than any great economic achievement.
how amazing is the fact, the today Jews have massive rallies at their Holy site, and not a single Nazi is in the German parliament? all that nuremberg rally, where are they now?
@testbug987 thats exactly what im saying. I really wonna go back in time and experience this (maybe in a way like harry potter in a chamber of secrets-just go back and watch as a "ghost"). This is not because i am a nazi, this is because this is an incredibly dark and interesting time. i would just like to see how it was by then (and maybe tell stauffenberg to put in the second pack of explosives as well) :P

I prefer to see the Nuremberg trials and watching the Nazi goons swing from gallows. THAT is Nuremberg to me.

There is a vid on Youtube after the rally grounds was captured by Americans. They have a USO show.
Personally, I think the Zeppelin Field never looked better.

Interesting choice of music as O Fortuna was produced in Nazi Germany in 1937. I guess Orff had a lot of inspiration!

Does anyone know the music played in this video?
rjd071983 2 years ago
Its "O Fortuna" from the Carmina Burana suite by Carl Orf
