Hey, thank you for posting this video, lets try to inform people by bringing such importnat facts which will make them know their roots. However, I don't agree with what you said in the video about similarity between Ge'ez and Latin. I don't understand how they are similar. If it is because both are no more in use, yes. Otherwise they are completely different languages
Not in daily use, but still used as liturgical languages, I suppose. Linguistically, it's considered in the same family as Arabic and Hebrew, and the ancestor of modern Tigriña and Amharic. Hmm... Like Latin being in the same wider family as Greek and Sanskrit and evolving into Spanish, Italian, French and such? If you think about it that way, the comparison makes more sense.
@kibrenegest Yes so Do you see? western ignorance about historically the harmonious use of the Aramaic alphabet in Ethiopia. Afro-Asiatic cultures of Abysinia are part of the system of modern Indian-European civilization, so family of the Indo-European cultures has the second cousins in Africa. Modern civilization borned by the invention of agriculture approximately 12000 years ago. What do you know about opening in by a 1926 Russian geneticist Nikolay Vavilov of the Abyssinian agrarian cente?
You are right. This particular parchment is made from goatskin. Unfortunately, it's difficult to make a video interesting and get all the facts right. I'm no Connie Chung...(wish I was). Thanks for helping this video become more informative

It's not plain goatskin, but parchment. Most people don't realize it, but parchment was not made from paper, but rather treated animal hides.
