She's a professional sound engineer/composer at a major game company, I think she knows how to mix her songs :P She's also a classically trained pianist/singer, so I'm sure she knows how to properly enunciate for the purpose of doing voice recordings.

I've heard all of her songs and I don't agree with you at all, her voice is very easy to hear. If her youtube videos have poor audio quality it's because she's using a webcam (and youtube lowers video quality)... but when it comes to her fully produced recordings, they're professional quality.

I've listened to Faster, Call me Home, and all of those album songs and you can hear her voice very well (they were recorded and produced in a professional studio). Maybe you're talking about her really old stuff? She's shared a few songs from wayyyyy back in the day when she had nothing but a computer mic... so it should be obvious why the vocals are quieter in those tracks :P

Oh I've been thinking about this for a long time - in all of your songs, it is often difficult to hear your voice over the rest of the background music. Maybe you could remix some of them? Also classically trained singers learn to over-enunciate words while singing; like theater performers. It sounds overdone to the person singing or speaking, but the audience hears it as normal. Just something to consider. Please don't take any of this the wrong way, I love your songs and voice!

@saxdragon Laura is using a webcam and little usb mic for her live recordings, which is probably why her voice isn't as loud compared to the piano. That and youtube kind of distorts the audio a bit unfortunately :( I don't think she needs to change anything about her enunciation (her non-webcam-audio recordings sound just fine).
