I loved all of the series equally, they all had their own fell to them and were all thoroughly enjoyable...looking forward to this new "Long Way Up" series :)
Saw this at a Book store today packed with By any means. Didnt want to buy it cos i already have By any means. Anyone know where to get it on its own?
Looking forward to when this hits our shores on TV, have to get them all on DVD; already got LWR.....watched it to death LOL. I agree Ossadawn, too much too soon can end up with people hating it, besides with all the bones etc that Charley has broken it might do him good?!
But it only seemed like yesterday that I watched the first By any means on TV. I like the shows, but the format is getting pretty predictable now (such as the obligatory subdued slots of visiting orphanages and delivering medicine on the way,to offset self serving fun) and perhaps needs a longer break between them? Ultimately, viewer numbers for the latest series will decide, but I reckon there is a 'risk' of viewer burn out.
Charley-My husband and I are huge fans of yours-loved Long Way Round and Long Way Down! We are dying to see your videos Race to Dakar and By Any Means 1 and 2 but can't buy them in a format for the U.S. Will these videos ever be available in the U.S.? I really hope so! :)
