well im 6'2 maybe 6'3 bout 220-235 i got the 09 duece in 161 but a bit stiff for my taste for a big guy yes i do pipes n ramps but never had a twin thinking bout buying one thx for the review
I'm 5'9, 155lb. riding an 06 Twin Retro 153. You sound like a 148 to 151. This thing is stiffer than you think, so if you like park, you better get a size you can flex at will.
I just rode this board for the first time today, and it is sick! You can really tell this thing likes the jumps and park, sticks landings well, really good pop, and still hold ups alright in powder! good board!
Wow I tried this out but after like 2 runs I realized it was a mid wide and my foot was a bit too small to get enough leverage around the turns but I grabbed the dominant and it was awesome pretty much the same but the width
Thanks for the awesome video! Quick question... I'm 6'0" 190lb - i'd like a smaller board, do you think i'd be ok with the 157cm or do you think it's too small for me? I'd like to do more park but still ride around the mountain a bit.
k i got a size 13 boot and i want this board fukin bad.....im 5'11 and weigh 170 u think i could fit on a 154 or 161?! i like green so i want it to be one of those hah and wat size is ur board?
a 158 in my opinion will be way too long for you and will be too much board for you... it will feel like 1 notch stiffer since you are a little underweight for that size.
i swear thats mark my snowboard coaach up at mt hood camp and he recommended the 2010 burton twin for demoinng and its to expensive for buying so i was looking at this 1 how do u like this board ??? will be able for powder
great board, and any board can be ridden in pow, just depending on if you can adjust to ride the pow... some boards make pow easier others you have to work harder.
pretty much you are right... last years was 450 and this years is 400...Burton discontinued the parkfly numbering this year and just went with Parkfly as a whole. Also the price drop is just what burton wanted to do, the board features new tech like the Dual Density Triax but they aren't charging extra for it.

i hate my 09 twin. they blow in the powder, as expected
ThriceTea1 2 years ago
Does twin in flex mean that its the same flex on the nose as it is on the tail?
kimsterjizznugget 2 years ago
yes indeed thats what it means.

If I am 6'1" and weigh about 155-160 and a size 11 1/2- 12 boot would a 157 work?
flagstaffffatsgalf 2 years ago
yup , you should be fine on the 157
PortersLars 2 years ago
thinking of picking up a 151. Im about 5'6 maybe 5'7 and weight about 125 130. Should i go 154 or is a 151 perfect??

ventriliventure 2 years ago
the Twin doesn't have an overly wide waist however most park board generally have a wider than normal waist for better stability in the park.
PortersLars 2 years ago
I just bought one, a 148, and I have a size 9 boot, would it be awkward feeling for me?
RawrThinkFast 2 years ago
with a waist of 247 you will be able to fit a medium binder on there with no issues.

porkyant 2 years ago
that might be a little small for your height and weight and small for riding all mountain. Especially if you want to use this as a do it all board.
PortersLars 2 years ago
Hey, would this be a good board for someone like me, to progress in park, but still be able to do natural pow hits and tree runs?
RawrThinkFast 2 years ago
yup, the twin is a great park board but can easily handle more than just the park..
PortersLars 2 years ago
i would reccomend this board to people who are more freeride its also good for tricks bc its really lite

Im thinking about getting this board. I am almost 5'7 and weigh about 165. Should I either go for the 154 or 151 in your opinion?
Yajoke 2 years ago
151 for sure
chaaarest 2 years ago
ok so i have a 154 board and a size nine boot and weigh 165 lbs, i'm thinking a twin at 151 cause i'd like the smaller board, would it work for me?
applesauceisdumb 2 years ago
you are a little on the higher side f the weight range for that board so if you do ride it, it will feel a little softer than advertised.
PortersLars 2 years ago
its just all out a beautiful snowboard espeshily the red one btw nice vid.

jabbels 2 years ago
the shortest you might want to go is the 157 with your boot size. I think you need to look for wides with those gun boats you are rockin.
PortersLars 2 years ago
so whats the difference between this and the blunt...
applesauceisdumb 2 years ago
the Blunt is softer.. there are other differences like the core and glass but the flex is the biggest difference.
PortersLars 2 years ago
hey i am 5.6 and 125 lbs. i also like park riding but like the normal groomed slopes and poweder. will the 158 work for me?
