While this is an excellent educational video, in real life I recommend everybody to mount the RD as high as possible for the longest radar detection, mine is always on the sun visor professionally hardwired into the headliner.

I have a feelign the V1 was interfering with the Redllne on that run, running two windshield mounts together is never a good idea.
