@parabellumantonio If it was bullpup it would be unable to fold like that. The idea is a survival rifle so people wrap the barrels in 550 cord and the existing stock on it is a hidden ammo container with 4 .410s and 15 .22 rounds. Some people also like the length and stability of a rifle. Instead of a bullpup .22 you could get a Ruger Charger which is more reliable and proven.
good luck finding one springfield armory dont make them any more i got two from this guy for $100.00 so if you find one under 500 you better get it as
also theres a camo vershon thay made 1500 of ..us army 1st 7th cav
Marine issue backpack. I think it is a Camelbak/Blackhawk issue pack. It isn't mine, it is my friend's pack (he is a Marine). I think something similar would be the Camelbak HAWG
@pullnshoot25 Yeah, it's the Marine Corps "assault pack". They retail for $50 online, but I think your money could be spent on a better bag. I've used it maybe twice since it was issued to me in late 2008.
Great little carry piece.. at 3&1/2 #'s.. have the 22 hornet with a red dot .. shot placement after 75yd's .. imposable.. but the horn..35gn is a stopper on game up through the smaller pigs.. the ugly thing must terrify the Az. lions and wolves because they haven't bothered my old pack goat yet... but you have to be one who gets up off his ass to appreciate the 3%1/2 #'s. I travel with one old pack goat who caries my water and some gear.. 4 days is normal.. a week and a half is not uncommon.
i paid 99 bucks for mine about 8 years ago at a pawn shop(when i was 14 my parents bought it for me) now its worth 450 bucks and is basically brand new
It is just a piece of garden hose. They are not made anymore. It is OK to dry fire as far as I know. I just sold mine for 300 minus shipping to a guy up north from me.
Some people wrap 550 para cord to make a forearm. YOu can use it for climbing and making shelter or using the inner strands for fishing line. You can really use it for a ton of stuff.
I bought mine about 2 years ago, and i'm glad I did, they are pretty hard to find. and btw, I keep mine in my jeep. nice and compact survival rifle. It'll fetch me small game, and blow the brains out of a zombie if need be.
I seen an early experamental Springfeild model M6 it was made without the trigger guard(so you can shoot it in the winter time without taking your mitts off.)and I think it was a 22hornet and 20ga. and I think the fellow said there were only six made. And now I think they come with the trigger guard and in 22cal. LR and 410ga.
The scout is a bad-ass rifle, I bought mine last year. Wrapped od green parachord half way around the upper barrel. Bought a sling that holds .410 shells and put water/wind proof matches and an xacto knife blabe in two of the .410 holes in the stock to make it a true survival rifle. Now its in the back of my jeep cause u just never know.
Wicked. I just might do that to mine now. I've been looking around at customization options for a bit now, hahah. I started with cutting off the handguard so I can fold it in a backback like I did in the video... pretty sweet mod to do but it it increases your chance of a cracked nail and it does cost about 50 bucks to reassemble it (you need a special slave pin to accomplish it) Happy shooting!
omfg he has got the same bag as me

A) It looks like you're putting the butt right up into your neck
B) Reloading after every shot does not make for a good survival gun
C) Your voice is annoying as balls
D) Clean your rifle, fuck.

Looks like a nifty little gun. I just wish it had a real trigger, I don't think I'd like that squeezy thing. Is it accurate?
AwakeAndDangerous 3 years ago
Accurate enough for its intended purpose!
pullnshoot25 3 years ago
@AwakeAndDangerous the point of the squeezy thing is so you can shoot with a frostbitten hand.

Do the spent casings eject out like an over-under or do you have to remove them manually?
DirtyFrigginHarry 3 years ago
You have to remove them manually, or you can normally just tilt the gun and they'll fall out.

I might get one of those though on the side...

I removed the trigger guard on mine for a more compact carry. Unfortunately, I did sell it to fund reloading equipment and a .44 revolver.
