What I don't get about pro wrestling is, admit it, clearly there's cooperative staged fighting, right? It's obvious. But do these guys really hit each other hard? Do they actually jump into the ring together with the understanding that they're gonna let the other guy knock them out? Like those bar fights that are fun and completely mutual?

this dvd was really annoying because all throughout, guys in WWE management talked about how terrible warrior was, yet he received a huge push. He was a poor worker and obviously didn't protect or care for his opponent in the ring, which is why nobody wanted to work with him or had anything positive to say about him other than his character. I agree with you about the super hero and villian part, but I have to strongly disagree with you about the young guys of today having no talent or personality. I think a lot of the young guys today have what it takes to make it.
In the 80's and 90's prowrestling was just more creative as far as character development promo's and storlines.Nowadays their no originality,you have younger wrestlers that either have no personality or have a gimmick thats been already used to death.Back in day these guys were like living breathing superheroes and villian's to me and it provided me with alot of good childhood memories.

He was a poor worker and obviously didn't protect or care for his opponent in the ring, which is why nobody wanted to work with him or had anything positive to say about him other than his character. He had poor mic and interview skills as well. But everybody, including myself, liked him cause of his Ultimate Warrior character, strength and charisma.

In the 80's and 90's prowrestling was just more creative as far as character development promo's and storlines.Nowadays their no originality,you have younger wrestlers that either have no personality or have a gimmick thats been already used to death.Back in day these guys were like living breathing superheroes and villian's to me and it provided me with alot of good childhood memories.

I don't think he is or was as influenced by money and fame as much as a lot of fans wanted him to be and as much as a lot of other wrestlers at that time were, and today we see that the Ultimate Warrior turned out a lot better than most ex-pro wrestlers.

The second time the Warrior left, he quit due to Vince not fulfilling his part of the contract; rather, he used part of Warrior's non-wrestling related side project without his knowledge or consent at a licensing event.
