  • Second one is like mine own idea. For self running it should slide better and 8 is not enough

  • DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NAY SAYERS !!!!!!! A scientific fact is only a measurement of what we understand at this moment in time. At one time it was an in controvertible fact that the WORLD WAS FLAT! Persevere, if it were easy anyone could do it. Good Luck

  • The person who demonstrates Perpetual Motion will not live long enough to enjoy his achievement.

  • is it possibly speeding up to a point of self-destruction. Maybe a speed limiter on it would prevent it from running "too fast" or perhaps not fast enough?

  • hmmm bearings and a lubricated run through 2 sheets of metal may work for 2nd

  • good thinking

  • Hello friend's idea is not bad but in your case I would put him at each end of the bars other fixed magnet that repels the magnet that puts you in motion when you apply force or speed the centrifugal force of magnets tend to go out if you put other magnets as actuating force centrifufa fixed magnets can repel that force and work.

I too am in search of perpetual motion but a little less mechanical.

    greetings from Venezuela ...

  • the magnets ideea its great but the quality of the construction shows that your interest its very close to null keep trying theyr physics says it should work ;) no joke

  • Seperate magnets either side to push the 'spoke magnets up and in' on one side and out and down on the other... plus add the flywheel in the center... 'just some thoughts.

  • This is pretty genius, I'll admit.

I think if you combined this and a rail gun like structure surrounding the wheel itself, a more efficient method could be obtained.

  • Try getting rid of the banging sound.

Lubrication/Springs/soft rubber. These will get rid of some of the friction you have. Instead of using wood sticks try find some thin solid metal poles or something.

then it would work much better. I do like your attempt though! :)

  • Идиотизм,крутит рукой\ Idiocy, turns that whell with hand

  • i don't accualy know much of these but i have seen a lot of these...i think

    -magnets are too strong

-sticks where moving parts are, are in wrong angle to the center(also 1 of magnet styles fix some of that)

  • good concept is a unseen idea for me

  • hes spenning it with his hands...fail!!!!!! 1:04 he is spiining when he/she quits it stops very nice..

  • the spin force is going to counter too much though

  • I BELIEVE WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS PUT A WIND ON IT

BEND POLES IN LIKE A fan

NOT TOO MUCH OR YOULL HAVE SLIDE PROBLEMS

  • I don't get why this doesn't work :(

the magnets push the mags on the wheel towards the centre so that the wheel is unbalanced and thus falls. so why doesn't this do that? :(

  • i like the originality

  • cool

  • ya know... you`ll always get some know it all telling ya that it wont work becouse of the laws of physics, these people are of course correct but if building these things as a little pass time, out of interest and learn first hand why it doesnt by experimenting and watching it then whats the harm? Its still fascinating to the person who is learning. chill out nay sayers!

  • Wow, this mhaley123 is a fool. Why does he bother wasting the time to comment. Get off youtube, no one will complain.

  • Please explain exactly??

  • The problem that I found during my gravity research is the problem of momentum. If the gravity can make higher the angular velocity of machine in the first cycle, it doesn't mean that second cycle will always run more faster.

  • Did you try loosing the magnetic rim and just spinning the wheel, letting the sliding blocks and gravity do the work?

  • Try reducing the size or weight of the sliders.

  • Centrifugal force doesn't exist.

It's always centripetal force at work.

  • I liked the line "centripetal" for the purists. No, it's "centripetal" for those who like to know what they're talking about since they're two totally different concepts. Saying that it doesn't matter which term you use is like saying that it doesn't matter if a door is open or closed. A moment's thought will see that it does, same as centripetal or centrifugal makes a difference since the first is being drawn inward, like a whirlpool, and the other is flinging outward, which this is ;).

  • Please attach a heavy flywheel to the shaft and let it thus run slowly and use at the right side

an attraction field, so the magnets are pulled out at the right side.

    Then it might work.

    Good luck.

    Regards, Stefan.

  • The only problem with magnets is they seem to have this sneaky way of seeking equilibrium. I cannot see how it would ever be possible to create a self running magnet motor. You will always need some source of input or trigger to counteract the magnets desire to reach a stable state.

Good luck and may the spirits bless those who persevere.

  • I was talking about the first one

  • It is flawed, will never work like that.

  • When you were turning it by hand it looked to run smoothest when it was going fast enough for the centrifical force held the mags at the ends of the legs, rather than them sliding in and out.

  • And yet it still will not continue to turn without the help of human hands.............

  • well a normal car doesnt start before you start the car.. this is the beginning of clean motors at least give some positive feedback

  • Good Build. Keep it up>

  • Next time try increasing the coolness of the music and you will get perpetual motion.
