Secondly, this song is too difficult for mere mortals to do. There's a lot wrong with this rendition, but you have to give them credit for giving it a go.
Bo Diddley once said to Brian Jones, Rolling Stones guitarist who plays this syncopated riff on the studio record: "You're the only guy who ever got the Bo Diddley Beat right".
Even the Rolling Stones sound weak without Keith Richards.
@gandil408 We must give credit where credit is due. Yes, Mick Taylor contributed a wonderful piece of guitar virtuoso during the second half of this song, which was the instrumental piece. But all of the main guitar work during the verses and the chorus, which is all that is shown in this video, was Keith Richards. Why cannot people admit that in his own unique and simplistic approach that Keith Richards is a fucking guitar genious!!
OK, this is one of my favorite songs, and they do it justice. I think it is a very pleasing rendition of classic stones. Instrumentally they sound just like the original. Vocally, this dude is not trying to do Jagger, he is doing his own interpretation, and I like it a lot!
I love this tune, great sound, the chicks look like they are stoned or drunk or both. I think the babe on the left is really hot, they should give more camera time.
the band is decent , but both lead and backing vocal are nothing short of the cringe factor, and the back-up vocalists sound like a bunch of semi drunk college girls doing some very bad karaoke !
They gave the Stones a run for the money. This track sounds better than th Stones doing CYHMN Live. The back-up singers nailed it,muscians nailed it and the singer sang it better than Jagger does now...he didn't copy or attempt to mimic the sound from the Album.Relly good.
umm.. spinningfish.. are you saying you'll go to a Concert paying tribute to the compositions of an Artist or Artists, and expect to hear performers attempt to mimic, instead of interpret?
The title lead me to believe that this was a Rolling Stones Tribute Band, in which case I would expect the frontman to sound like Jagger, as I cannot afford the real thing.
Therefore, as an interpretation, this is actually rather good, so I stand corrected!
@musodata interpret???? dude noone is trying to interpret.............. they are not good enough to interpret. But I like their performance. But please dont say interpret!!
i like it ... & i love the who backdrop

Hey Ppuffdiddleydangdoof :
That's a Keith riff all the way (right down to the open G tuning)...no way Jones played it.

Did the lead singer get traded from the Black Crowes tribute band? Just kidding. He's great. Terrific performance all around.
