@FindMeInKurume only expensive if you're not a tourist. I always get a JRail Pass when coming to Japan, this allows me to take any JR train (except Nozomi Shinkansen) 14 days for roughly 400 dollars.

This is extremely cheap as a normal return ticket from Tokyo - Kyoto is already like 250 dollars (25.000 yen last time I checked)

@NaruXD Yeah it's true there are some visitor passes available. Also your rough estimate of the price is about right, the ¥ is down right now though. It may be cheaper for you.

@MANNY100123 I am far from them. That's all I can say for now, don't want to comment on being worried or not. I don't know what's going to happen. I am hoping they fix them like everyone else. Thanks, and I hope it doesn't affect my area either, if it does other countries like Russia and Korea will be in trouble too.
