@Peachsnapple75 I'm guessing its modular ? I think I got a black phone cord at walmart one time. Its one of the really long types.

Interesting, It looks like the handset has been replaced and the cord has been mod jacked, phones in 61 didn't have mod jacks because they wernt invented. Still Cool.

@DodaKrowa It just so happens that the plastic finger wheel broke on this one a while back. I found brand new one online a few weeks ago and fixed the phone about 3 days ago. Thanks for your comment.

I've been struggling to get my February 1965 green colored 500 model to work by trying to usa a modular adapter. The 500 has problems Txing, Rxing is fine, and it has a nice ringer!

I'm trying to restore my model 500 L/M. They are surprisingly wired differently, and VERY dificult to get the ringer working on todays phone network due to its ringer being 2 wire not 4..

I love that echo effect when you pick up and talk on it you can hear it on the cellphone with a slight delay.
