Wenige kennen Klaus Nomi, aber viele die Früchte seiner Saat, ob sie nun Gaga oder sonstwas sind.
Er war seiner Zeit vorraus und er hat die Welt verstanden, nur die Welt ihn nicht.
Ich habe ihn Anfang der 80iger in einer deutschen TV-Show zum ersten mal gesehen und gehört, er performte "Total Eclipse". Danach bin ich in den Plattenladen und habe mir die Single gekauft und rauf und runter gespielt, meine Eltern und Nachbarn haben mir verziehen. Dieser Song ist Teil meiner Jugend gewesen. ;)

What I can't abide is people crediting Gaga with creating some kind of original sound and look, when it is evident that there are artists of the past century who were way ahead of her in terms of innovation. Everything Nomi did with care and refinement, she has made garish and overbearing. I deeply resent her.

Most people also seem to forget that Gaga wears the fashion designers clothing that doesn't get much attention because it's abit more out there.

@Preliator0 She still writes her own music, which, compared to Rihanna, Beyonce, et ala, etc, ad infinitum, does not constitute her being a soldier of her "marketing team." Why would any of these artists do what they do without the hope of even having a marketing team? To get to that point is every musicians dream. Do they really want to work at 7/11 the rest of their lives? NO. She's living every artist's dream. Don't rip on the GAGA.
