@TeshiKennedy117 I don't think Resident Evil 4 gave birth to Gears at all, the over-the-shoulder camera yea. But not the cover based mechanics and hopping over cover and all that. And besides, i said of this generation. Resident Evil 4 was originally a gamecube title.
@bigboss25262 That's because Gears popularized the cover system, but if it weren't for RE4 it'd have a sloppy out-of-place camera like Brute Force. And there are very, very few games from this "generation" (I thought you meant 2000s decade, you seem to talk about the 7th console gen) that are completely revolutionary. Dead Space? RE4 in Sci-fi setting. Gears? RE4 gameplay + Halo story + cover system. Uncharted? Gears + Tomb Raider. etc.
I have bought alot of games this year and when i got batman I can put my hand on my heart and say: this is the DAMN best game i have played in a long time<33 thanks
the narrator kinda reminds me of that girly british guy from that simpsons episode where he made a documentary about homer for every 8 years of his life.
