  • @nellieou "I think it's quite arrogant of us to assume we would know what the Earth's temperature and weather is supposed to be" - We can only talk about what the temp should be for human beings to survive and florish. If thats not the primary concern then it doesnt matter at all to me what the temp is.

"It's also arrogant to assume we could change it." - Remeber the ozone hole, how we caused it? and how we fixed it? history seems to disagree with you mate

  • current CO2 levels are at 390 ppm and rising. it wont be long before antarctica begins to thaw as fast as greenland currently is, which btw is rising out of the sea at a rate of 1 inch per year. when antarctica thaws enough it too will rise out of the sea. it is connected to every tectonic plate around the world and will crack the earths crust. this isnt doomsday bull, this is science, and quite likely the worse threat facing mankind.

  • Benjamin Franklin:

"Why should the Palatine Boors [Germans] be suffered to swarm into our Settlements, and by herding together establish their Language and Manners to the Exclusion of ours? Why should Pennsylvania, founded by the English, become a Colony of Aliens, who will shortly be so numerous as to Germanize us instead of our Anglifying them, and will never adopt our Languages or Customs, any more than they can acquire our Complexion."

  • The only solution is to enlighten the common mass.

    Reduce waste.

    Ride energy efficient small cars.

    Quality research and development.

  • funny how it grows and shrinks.... not only shrinks.....

  • WHITE HORSE PORN NAYYYYYY

  • Senator Inhofe is an anti-American terrorist who steals millions of dollars from the American taxpayer in the form of corporate welfare handouts.

He keeps the oil-gas-coal companies endlessly on the taxpayer dole, who are also forced to suffer the health and environmental costs.

Meanwhile, true radical liberal progressives are forcibly kept from earning a living in the green energy field of solar and wind power.

Climate-change denialists like Mockington, Limbaugh, ....

  • @mphello .... get paid millions in taxpayer subsidies and corporate handouts to promote their lies and anti-science and denial of anthrpogenic global warming (AGW).

  • @mphello please, give a source to this "millions in taxpayer subsidies" that go to rush, or monckton? I doubt you can, since they don't get any taxpayer funds. You can't even spell their names correctly. You are an imbecile.

  • @mphello I dunno, gore built a multi million dollar energy INefficient mansion for himself. It uses more electricity than a retail store of the same square foot size, and he doesn't even stay there half the days of the year anyway. So I guess he must be the one exception to your "poor, put-down, liberal progressive savior" theory?

  • @canisdormit Bullshit. You can't prove anything you say about Gore.

You conservaturds don't even attack Gore for the right reasons: authorizing the EPA to needlessly poison and murder millions of animals with the LD50 test in laboratories. Or Clinton for being a coward pussy murdering duck-hunter.

Vote Green Party, Socialist, or World Workers Party - 2012!

  • @mphello hey, I never said I was conservative. Im a realist. The reality is you libtards and conservitards need to stop sucking each other's cocks and let the sane people run the show.

  • @canisdormit What a dumbfuck statement. Who the FUCK are YOU to decide who is "the sane people"?

Clearly, your ENTIRE mind is "Republicans = conservatives, Democrats = liberal" (never mind the fact that they are ALL conservatives). So, how about the World Workers? Or Greens? Or the Animals Count party in EU?

Fact is: ANYbody who gets involved in politics, other than sitting on the sidelines safe and comfortable like you, you find it easy to condemn as "not being the people".

  • @mphello actually, i'm a biologist. You, on the other hand, are a fuckwit.

  • @canisdormit No, you're not a "biologist". You're a subhuman piece-of-shit liar.

I, on the other hand, am a chemical engineer and a mathematician and a biotechnologist.

  • @mphello those little pieces of scrap paper you printed on your desktop are not degrees. And you come from a long line of liberal pussies, that's why you get fucked so often. I piss on your ancestry.

  • @canisdormit My NURSERY school diploma is worth more than your years of so-called "work", which you've never done a day of in your life.

If you HAVE a college degree (in "biology" - which I SERIOUSLY doubt - GOTTA be some bullshit like political "science" HA!) you got it through fraud by erasing over your roommate's name and writing yours in.

    That doesn't count.

Fucking pussy coward conservatives. Never did a THING for civilization.

  • @mphello aww, your hippy psuedoscience fell apart, and then you had to go and rename that lie something else so you could perpetuate it. I would wipe my ass with your "degrees" but I wouldn't want my ass to get dirty.

  • @canisdormit Unlike you extreme rightwing conservatards and god-ass-kissers, I am a realist.

I support mandatory birth control on humans (on the males) and veganism.

Shits like you who never went to school or held a job ever care about whom you hurt or the consequences of your actions. You conservaturds think only about your own comfort.

  • @mphello so, when you cant come up with something original, copy someone else and say it was your original idea....yup you must be a liberal. You need to get that cum-driping conservative phallus outa your big mouth.

  • @canisdormit so what does that make you? someone that hides behind a cross whilst you war for oil?

  • @vengencefrom1979 I would say it makes me the giant Dick that's fucking that big pussy mouth you have ;)

  • @canisdormit youre half right, you are a big dickhead.

  • @vengencefrom1979 Aww, is your pussy sore? Maybe you shouldn't wear it out so often.

  • @canisdormit too bad people like you only have hindsight. but then your head is always up your ass anyways.

  • @canisdormit And 350 org is realistic. And climateprogress. And Greenpeace. And the Delaware River Keepers. And PETA. And Farm Sanctuary. They don't just talk, like you deniers. They get hard things done.

Coward pussy shits, pretending you're "objective" (which really means you make up your own bullshit reality / wackjob conspiracy theories), have NO busy telling the troops in the political and legal trenches WTF to do.

  • @mphello stop drinking, the koolaid you hippy. nd wash your dirty self, I can smell you from here. Also, your libtard organizations have all been debunked. You are no more a realist than a clown in a circus. Well, let's be real here: if you were in the circus you'd be the beardes woman, just like your mom was.

  • @canisdormit I've reported your stupid Holocaust-denying terrorist ass to the FBI and CIA.

  • @mphello good, my cousin will handle the case for you ;) also, don't be surprised when all your tender accounts get frozen....just a heads up hahahaha!

  • @canisdormit

"accounts get frozen" What - is that supposed to be some kind of joke because you lunatics think the world is freezing?

  • @mphello no, thay.s me telling you that the joke is on you. I have a relative who works ar one of the pla.cs you said, and since you think you're a tough guy, I copied some of your material on here....like the death threats especially. I'm actually going to talk to my relation and give him a dossier in you. When they ser the death threats they are going to sieze your assets and show you a very small, cold, cement new home ;)

  • @canisdormit blah blah blah.... and you've made so many attempts on Al Gore's life - yet he's still alive!

Seems you're a terrible assassin. What a buffoon.

  • @mphello Laugh as much as you can now...while you are able. NSA has a nice dripping/moldy/barred room reserved for you now ;)

  • @canisdormit in re gore's mansion. wtf would that have to do with global warming? if i build a mansion where I live and the only power source is coal i'm going to use it. if its oil, i'll use that too, if and when the utility companies decide to switch to wind i'll use that also. moron.

  • @vengencefrom1979 it means gore is a fucking hypocrite, you dense turd!

  • @canisdormit yeah right, hes got the nerve to stand up and make a point but all you want to do is discredit him while ....? denying global warming because gore doesnt live the way you want? if anyone is the hypocrite it is you.

  • @vengencefrom1979 gore wants to sell carbon tax credits, he has no plan to eliminate waste, just turn a profit on it. It's also not global warming, its climate change you dense turd!

  • @canisdormit global warming is a bigger threat to humanity than you could of ever imagined. when the ross ice shelf collapses you will get but a small taste of it.

  • @vengencefrom1979 you will undoubtedly receive the Darwin award before then ;)

  • @canisdormit i'm prediciting the ross ice shelf will collapse by 2016 if not sooner.

  • Keep up the great work, uknowispeaksense!

You can sure bet that these same deniers, who pontificate with absolute certainty that humans are NOT causing serious climate change by exaggerating the uncertainty in the science, are the same ones who unequivocally say "socialism causes economic collapse" as though it were "scientific" "fact", not political opinion.

  • how did I get here from watching minecraft videos?

  • @SpeedStrikerXLR

i was watchin boeing cockpit vids

  • How did I get here from a Minecraft Video?

  • How did I get here from a Minecraft Video?

  • okay, dumbasses dont realize that winters getting colder IS AN INDICATION OF GLOBAL WARMING.

  • i just saw a show called the last day on earth on the history channel and they said if the caps melt completely it could raise sea levels 20 feet...i dont know why no one is not doing anything to control global warning...oh well i guess they will do something after something terrible happens..as usual!! tsk tsk!

  • @mddarch2 - In the long long history of our planet, the Earth has been much much hotter than it currently is and what it has been for the last several thousand years. Who is to say its "natural" temperature isn't supposed to be much much hotter? Likewise, who is to say that the SUN is not the cause of the heating of our Earth? When the oceans are heated, the amount of CO2 rises, not vice versa. Mars is also undergoing global warming. Are we humans contributing to that as well?

  • @nellieou If you think that you can use Mars as a proxy for Earth than you are even more of a scientific illiterate than nellieou. Just so you know, the solar irradiance has actually decreased by 0.5w/m^2 over the past 30 years while temperature has increased. Your 'last several thousand years' should read 'at least 600000 years'. CO2 causing global warming is a strawman argument. No scientists are actually saying it is the single cause. It has an amplifying effect. educate yourself.

  • its all a load of crock polar ice caps are NOT melting

  • @TheEcoTerrorDactyls :/ Yes they are

  • @QuantumOverlord to each their own

  • @QuantumOverlord It's not opinion though, its fact. The polar Ice caps Have melted over the last 30 years. There is no debate over that.

  • @QuantumOverlord yeah they melt every summer but its also a fact that they grow every winter science actually disproves global warming

  • @thevoodooguru In winter the melting trend is less extreme, but it is still there non the less. It is naive to not reconise the trend. For example this feburary the ice cap extent was the lowest on record for the winter. Although this proves nothing in itself over the last 30 years the extent has decreased by up to 5 million square kms (in summer this is Much much greater). Ice volume is also a 1/4 of what it was 30 years ago.

Science disproves global warming? No it doesnt.

  • @thevoodooguru actually, there isn't one peer reviewed scientific paper disproving global warming.

  • @uknowispeaksense uhh your pretty stupid arent you

  • @thevoodooguru well why don't you educate me with some peer reviewed papers that show where the "science actually disproves global warming"? That would be the intelligent place to start.

  • @uknowispeaksense if a peer reveiwed it and agreed the polar ice caps are not melting due to global warming you would not consider the argument relevant so what you are asking is impossible

  • @thevoodooguru your ignorance of how peer review and publishing works is evident. If somebody undertakes a scientific study and their science is sound, it will pass peer review and be published regardless of what position it takes. if you read scientific journals you will see this is the case for all science disciplines. The fact that there isn't a single paper that has gone through this process means that any papers taking the opposite view in terms of AGW don't have sound science.

  • @uknowispeaksense your arrogance is hilarious you asume you know everything i do understand the process my original argument stands nothing against global warming will get published because scientist are not open minded their actualy is many papers published but you wont except them if you would look for it its not hard to find

  • @thevoodooguru keep it up. you clearly don't know how the system works. give me references to these "many papers". I have read hundreds andhundreds of peer reviewed publishedscienceonglobal warmingand they are all saying the same thing. It comes down to evidence and good science. There is no room for personal opinion in a scientific article..just facts. The fact that you seem to think that scientists are close minded is not only ludicrous but borders on defamatory as it hints at fraud.

  • @uknowispeaksense i guess your just to smart for me sorry for wasting your time

  • @uknowispeaksense These shitheads can't. That's the hilarious part.

Guaranteed fact: the next response out of their mouths will be "Al Gore... fraud... hoax.. blah blah"

After that, he WILL recite some thoroughly debunked worthless piece of trash like the Oregon petition or lies and cherry-picking video by Loud Mockton.

  • OH I hope so. The tens MIllion of acres of land that will not be in a permeant icebox will will raise food for billions of people and expand living space. The new resources that will be discovered under the ice will provide 100's of millions of jobs. The lack of ice will provide a shortcut via the northwest passage will save trillions every year in transportation costs alone. If there is similar warming in the south Antarctica will be like Alaska is now

  • there is no global warming it is getting colder if anything

  • @TheTedra30 Well obviously in USA its getting colder :D But in Europe its getting WILDER very rapidly. Every year or two we have all-time records in temperatures, rainfalls or droughts, floods, hurricanes and winds (even tornadoes now!) never seen before...

  • @DigiDrone23 - "Never seen before..."? And how long exactly have strict global records been kept? Maybe a thousand or so years IF THAT? And how long has the planet been around? How long have humans been around? I think it's quite arrogant of us to assume we would know what the Earth's temperature and weather is supposed to be in the small amount of time we've been on this Earth. It's also arrogant to assume we could change it.

  • @nellieou Why would that be arrogant? We could destroy all life on earth in the matter of hours, if we wanted. We could make Mars of our planet. You just need to push a few buttons. What makes you so certain we are not responsible for rapid climate changes? Or do you just believe? Are we talking about arguments, or about beliefs here?

  • @nellieou its not arrogance, however, it is scientific illiteracy and subsequent ignorance that results in comments like yours. Educate yourself on the subject matter before commenting, that way at least your opinion will be an informed one and you might earn a little respect.

  • The cult of global warming with all of it's blind adherents who think they are of science. Internal emails expose that they fix the data to manipulate the results when the planet has been cooling, but that doesn't matter to a blind devotee of the new GW cult. They have a bible from AL Gore and the United Nations along with a massive amount of controlled media and science outlets. They won't listen to any scientists who offers a different analysis and viewpoint.

  • I bury my used motor oil in my back yard. For every can or bottle you rescue from going in a landfill, I bury a quart. Then I burn the plastic bottle. I like polluting!

  • Some people just won't accept the fact that we are the ones causing this. I guess they are too afraid to accept the truth.

  • Natural weather patterns responsible.

  • r ppl dumb. the fact is we have steadily polluted the planet since industrial revolution are they going to argue that we haven't ?? that that cloud of black fume i see coming off of every car is an illusion? is harry potter going to come cast a spell and save us too? I CAN'T WAIT!!

  • Why are they posting this green propaganda to youtube. The truth is that Antartica is getting more and more ice. And it's well know that over 90% of whole ice on earth is there in Antartica.

Why won't we kick asses these greenie fearmongers?

  • that people are poluting are water with oil and litter then fish and stuff are dieing from it and birds and that people are wasteing are clean water bye just i dont no WASTEING IT and wasteing elictricaty

so much reasons why globle warming is happeing and its all your fault in fact its EVERYONES WE NEED TO STOP EVERY THING THAT WHERE DOING THAT HURTS THE EARTH AND HELP THE EARTH RECICLE litter and save eleatricy dont pollute and dont use your car much use your bike and and and AND STOP!!

  • @randystickman12 For the record, generating electricity is not a problem, or, rather, SHOULD NOT BE, because we can generate ALL of it with solar and wind power. So, in general, I don't feel bad about wasting a little bit of electricity, personally, since my electric bill comes from Viridian electric: the 100% solar-wind option.

The problem is: we don't have the electric boats, cars, and airplanes to be powered by electricity.

  • its not careing people fault because 1.it all starts with littering people litter witch makes gas go in to the air and cant escape the earth making heat its making the planet warmer witch it melting the northand south thats making the water higher and higher thats covering are land 2. another thats globle warming is that people are cutting down are trees! making are air less clean and less air to breave there turning all those spots that were trees building spots! i hate that and another is

  • Fuck me it didn't change much....

Thanks for the evidence against the global warming bullshit...

  • I have traveled the world and seen with my own eyes whats happening out there and i tell you this, its not pretty...

  • 2.5 million years ago there was an ice time to

and the ice melted do and there was not even fire

    so

    nature wants this god

  • mother earth cries in pain.

  • The northern ice cap didn't exist for the majority of the Tertiary period and the world did not end. Actually, there were subtropical forests and apes across Europe and Asia in the Miocene, and broad expanses of tropical forest in Africa. It was only recently when temperatures dropped, the world dried, and ice caps formed, did forests retreat and deserts expand. Just saying.

  • @SnuffThaRooster right so you don't mind emigrating to africa or some other part of the equator along with 9 billion other people (expected population at that time)? ha ha ha id like to see your face if they said that while they also announced the global economic meltdown, complete loss of law and order etc. just saying

  • June, 2010 - ARCTIC SEA ICE LOWEST ever recorded - NSIDC

The average Arctic sea ice volume for May 2010 was 19,000 cubic kilometers (4,600 cubic miles), the lowest May volume over the 1979 to 2010 period. May 2010 volume was 42% below the 1979 maximum, and 32% below the 1979 to 2009 May average.

  • thats what polar ice caps do... they melt... and then freeze again in the winter... durp durp fear mongers

  • @NasirTarighian

And what part of "there is less total ice every winter when it refreezes" is it that you do not understand? Did you actually look at the video? Apologies if you are vision impaired, if you are please get someone who is sighted to explain it to you.

  • 1. This isn't satellite video, its a manufactured computer simulation.

    2. If you search the net you'll find that it melts in the summer months and freezes again in the winter.

    3. CO2 is exhaled by humans and also 'breathed in' by plants that then produce oxygen from it.

    4. Its a money making scam, wake up people.

  • GORE SLAMS CLIMATE DENIERS

    nytimes. com/2010/02/28/ opinion/28gore.html

We Can't Wish Away Climate Change

    28 Feb 2010

    by Albert Gore

    Nobel Laureate (2007)

"It would be an enormous relief if the recent attacks on the science of global warming actually indicated that we do not face an unimaginable calamity requiring large-scale, preventive measures to protect human civilization as we know it.

Of course, we would still need to deal with the national security risks of our growing ..."

  • "... dependence on a global oil market dominated by dwindling reserves in the most unstable region of the world, and the economic risks of sending hundreds of billions of dollars a year overseas in return for that oil. And we would still trail China in the race to develop smart grids, fast trains, solar power, wind, geothermal and other renewable sources of energy -- the most important sources of new jobs in the 21st century.

But what a burden would be lifted! We would no longer have to ..."

  • "... worry that our grandchildren would one day look back on us as a criminal generation that had selfishly and blithely ignored clear warnings that their fate was in our hands. We could instead celebrate the naysayers who had doggedly persisted in proving that every major National Academy of Sciences report on climate change had simply made a huge mistake.

I, for one, genuinely wish that the climate crisis were an illusion. But unfortunately, the reality of the danger we are courting has ..."

  • "... not been changed by the discovery of at least two mistakes in the thousands of pages of careful scientific work over the last 22 years by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. In fact, the crisis is still growing because we are continuing to dump 90 million tons of global-warming pollution every 24 hours into the atmosphere -- as if it were an open sewer....

*** Read much more at the link above.

  • @substanti8 lol I wonder how much fuel Al wasted to try to sell his movie. I bet you and I dont use that much in a YEAR. ;)

Buck up humans, EVOLVE! Thats what we do!

I just cant fathom selling my children into slavery based on some political hacks desire to sell carbon credits. The "crisis" is still a theory, however the REALITY of the evils and perils of socialism are well documented. And not by 200 hand picked scientists, most of whom have nothing to DO with climate in the first place.

  • there is nothing you can do it the planet is warming. It is a done deal and gore stands to make a billion dollars of his carbon credit bullshit!!! I might as well buy some weight watcher credits and then go eat a freaking pizza. That is about much sense carbon credits make. He flies all over the world in a private jet but has a carbon credit account that makes it all okay!!! LOL

  • @STILLNAKEDBULLWINKLE i'm going to send al gore a check right now to support the cause. what are you gonna do? whine about him living better than you?

  • @vengencefrom1979 hahaha...you really got me there. You are going to send your money to al gore. I am really upset about that? Hahahaha...it is your money. Throw it out of the car as you drive to work for all I care. You really got me by making a promise to send your money to Al gore! hahahahaha...what an awesome threat? Hahahahaha...thanks for the laughs!

  • @STILLNAKEDBULLWINKLE i'm going to sugn your name.

  • @vengencefrom1979 good luck "sugn" my name? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! Thanks for the laughs, skippy! LOL!!!!

  • @STILLNAKEDBULLWINKLE i should of been a comic. just the same, global warming is still the worse threat facing mankind. its too bad most people would rather believe a bunch of fox brainwashing news anchors that forgot what freedom of the press really means.

  • @vengencefrom1979 Love your typos! Why is Fox News constantly dominating the other cable news shows? Cause they provide a good product. In the free market system, if you provide a good product, it will be most popular and be in great demand. If you resent the success of that network, well, it is because you resent the success of that network! LOL! Regarding global warming, there is nothing that can be done. That is the reality you refuse to face. Man is not causing it. Ciao SUGN! LOL!

  • @vengencefrom1979 You need an education. I love how people are worried about the ice in the north melting and saying it will cover the earth. It float on the artic ocean. Does ice floating in your glass cause you drink to flow over? Ice breaks off all the time. The titanic hit ome of it.

  • @STILLNAKEDBULLWINKLE Al Gore is off shoveling RECORD SNOW in DC. :P

Well thats where the hack SHOULD be but he is prolly just another one of his polar bear hunting trips. Oh ya dont tell me I am the only person to notice that the polar bears started "dissapearing" right around the same time Al Gore started gettin so fat? Coincidence? I can come up with AT LEAST 200 "scientists" who say its not!

  • Yes, gravity is still just a theory too. So you shouldn't listen to those evil scientists who warn you not to walk off that ninth-floor ledge. Go ahead and do it.

Just like gravity (and evolution), climate science is a Bolshevik plot. Just listen to those scientists at their last meeting (below). WHAT NERVE!

  • The people who dont understand global warming are the same people who try to repute it by saying...." hey, global warming isnt happening, yesterday was just really cold, it snowed..............."

    Euhhhh..

    Errr..

    Duuh duhhh duuuurr.

    uhhh Dur da duuur

Duuu Global Warming is a lie....

    Euuhhaha du a durr

    im a fukin retard...

    euuurr duda duuurr....

  • Actually, the video showed them to be about the same size, although that's not necessarily how it is.

  • if you want to stop shrinking of ice, just send up giant unfolding "umbrellas" into space and have them in stationary orbit over the poles. the blocked out sun will cool the region. of course the idea is pretty outrageous but i think if we really had to, we would find a way to get it done.

  • Did anybody else notice that the ice cap kept shrinking and regrowing?

  • Yes, you're looking at Summer and Winter ice caps. The problem is that both seasons are trending to be much smaller (especially the summer caps).

  • Hahaha Yes buy into the scare and hoax. Come on you WANT to believe your environment will change in your lifetime...too bad it won't its GREEN BALONEY!

  • And the best thing about that is that the whales will eat the polar bears and the penguins so whos the stronger swimmer now??

  • Bald is good too! Don't worry about an aging Earth.

  • all of u ppl dont care bcuz its not hurting you! but think about the animasl that live there and are dieing bcuz of us! Its ppl like u that make our world like this

  • you are an idiot, polar bears are the best swimming mamals on earth and penguins are the top aquatic birds. polar ice caps size has increaced by 24% global warming is a fraudulant lie

  • @xkingiex dude..... its winter duh they would grow. they grow durring winters thaw durring summers. dont cherry pick data. why don't you look at the larger picture

the years with the thinnest and least ice happened between 2007-2008

  • Strange how these videos never show the gains in 2008 and 2009.

  • Posted October 10, 2006

    hurrrrrr

(Doesn't change the fact that you and all deniers are as dumb as truther/creationist hybirds)

  • ok bobby boy then which side of the fence are you on??? global warming fact or fiction? hmmm???

  • photoshop...and a bad one to boot

  • The sky is falling!

  • There is a video on YouTube by ClimateCentral showing the actual timelapse satellite images. Interestingly, every year the ice cap shrinks and expands. If all you show from recent years are the shrunken ice cap images, of course it will look like the ice cap is melting!

  • Absolute fake! Note that the ice coverage in Alaska and Greenland never changes one iota over more than 20 years!!!!!

  • ok... ok.... i believe that that is simply expandinding and contracting. In different directions... is that not natural... at this current moment it is summer out there. lets ask somethig were they taken at the same time in the year? If not it is not science. And anyway if u put a bit of ice in a glass it only melts to where it displaces, therefore how can the ice caps flood the earth

  • mars' ice caps are melting too... maybe we should limit their carbon emissions also

  • When an ice cube melts in a glass of water does the glass overflow? Does the melting ice add any volume to the water? hmm think about that....

  • Polar ice caps aren't the issue, its continental ice that will cause sea level rise. because you are right, the ice that is floating has already displaced the water, but the ice that is on continents-- like Greenland-- will add water into the ocean.

  • Funny I just did an experiment of this the other day, and no, it doesn't change the level. So the only melting ice that would raise sea levels would be ice on land. This just shows the extent that the global elite back government scientists, politicians and media will go to try and pull the wool over the peoples eyes when they come out with the bullshit doom scenario of the Arctic melting. They think we are all stupid.

  • When water goes from a liquid to solid it forms hydrogen bonds. These bonds cause the density to drop, increasing its volume. However as pointed out, not all this ice is floating. Your assumption also ignores the fact that the rest of the water on the planet is not frozen. Its true that the expansion of water when heated is very minimal, it is not insignificant when looking at the mass of water in the ocean. Its also not just an assumption that the level is rising its been measured.

  • a lot of the ice sits on land. hmm, think about that.

  • If some of the Ice were sitting above the water level, as it does in the polar regions, the level does rise as the ice melts.

  • Keep in mind these changes our observed on the southern pole too.

  • remember the words of Hulk Hogan (Rocky III):

    "It's all FAKE, meatball !"

  • What about the southpole...funny no one mentions that the Antarctic is growing in size

  • Cool vid. I think the oceans have entered a cooling trend that should reverse some of this for a while.

  • if fresh water is the only thing that evaporates out of the oceans then the more ice melt will add more fresh water to the top 5 feet of the worlds oceans this combined with warmer ocean water even air temperatures, will cause faster evaporation of the fresh water this will create more freaky bad rain storms.

  • And if Greenland melts, if would all make sense. Cause it would be green

  • lmao... well if the North Pole melts it isn't a problem, I feel sorry for the polar bears, but we won't have any ill effects because it's not fixed to land I don't think... if Greenland does actually turn green though, we might get quite a raising of sea levels... don't think there's much to be done about it though, if it happens then it happens, im not even sure it's our fault...

  • if antartica melts we still got greenland!

  • Where's 2007 and 2008?

  • "The Day after Tomorow" ..........soon will see it live!

  • The average tempature annually there is 50 below zero which is 80 below freezing. Every year it warms up for a couple of months to 12 degrees above freezing for just a few hours each day, so anyone who thinks a 3-5 degree above average change in the temp that will cause seas to rise is nuts, just add 3-5 degrees onto 80 below freezing and whats the MOST you will get?? 75 degrees BELOW freezing ANNUALLY, then add that to the few hours a day in the two months it warms, its nothing to worry about

  • 2 of the scientist Al Gore consulted with for "an inconvenient truth" defected in the last year.

Also interesting how the greenland never changed. Actual satelite photo's please!

The Latest NASA chart shows ice increased. This is now in line with other scientific groups have said for 8 years the ice at it's greatest extent had grown. And while were at it. How about posting the extents of Antartica. West Antartica has more than compensated for the collapse of the Larsen Ice Shelf.

  • Also, if the ice caps melt the sea water levels should stay about the same or even go down, because water takes up less space than ice. Some people believe what we are seeing with global warming is not so much caused by us, but actually the Earth changing naturally, we have no control over the final outcome.

  • Part of it is natural because we are in the interglacial period. Meaning we are supposed to warm because of the Earth's position relative towards the sun. Actually about those ice caps. If the Polar Ice Sheets melt the Sea level will rise because those are actually on land so they would add water, but the ice caps help keep the ice sheets on land I believe. As far as sea level is concerned it would have an effect in the long term.

  • As the so-called consensus on anthropogenic global warming continues to collapse, fantasist Al Gore is afraid to debate those who dare to question his theories,

Maybe Gore doesnt want to discuss the millions and millions of dollars he stands to make if the

job-killing carbon emissions controls he wants are imposed.

  • The U.S. National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) reported that many American cities and towns suffered record cold

temperatures in January and early February. According to the NCDC, the average temperature in January was -0.3 F cooler than the 1901-2000 (20th century) average

  • more and more scientists are coming out and telling you that it is a scam. That there is no real science in it. It's Scaryence. "Scare Science." Doom and gloom. So they came up with a plan.

What if the people ask for proof? "Just tell them that all the Scientist agree that it is real, and they are smarter then

them, so they need just accept it. Any Scientists that say it's not real are just kooks, or bought off by big oil."

  • Some people are so thick. How many times do eminent scientists need to prove the links between pollution and climate change before you finally believe it? How many internationally-recognised organisations? "The science is inconclusive" bla bla bla... no it isn't.

Climate change is both natural and human-caused. I'd have more respect for you if you just admit that you're too lazy to do anything about it, rather than go for blind denial.

  • Man-made carbon dioxide is only 0.117 percent of total carbon dioxide in the air and contributes only 0.0047 percent carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. The average person has been misled and is confused about what the current Global Warming debate is about, greenhouse gases. None of which has anything to do

with air pollution. People are confusing Smog, Carbon Monoxide (CO) and the pollutants in

car exhaust with the life supporting, essential trace gas in our atmosphere, Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

  • You can't just look at the addition of carbon dioxide alone, you have to look at the entire carbon cycle. We are not only releasing carbon dioxide reserves into the atmosphere, we are removing ecosystems that absorb the carbon dioxide as well. If you map out the amount of carbon dioxide the world can absorb, vs what is introduced into the atmosphere, what does the data show? Scientist are arguing that we are on course to break that balance which leads to carbon dioxide buildup.

  • @dodgyelbow Its bullshit. Climate change is brought on by the sun expanding and heating up. Humans have lived in ice ages and warm spells. Ice and snow on greenland's coast has been melting and revealing Viking settlements. There are also 30,000 scientists, many of them who have PHDs that contest Al Gore and his scheme to tax carbon emissions. I'm not saying pollution is a good thing...I think that it's a bad thing. They need to stop dumping stuff in the water. They need regulations to stop

  • @dodgyelbow man made chemicals and pollutants, but I'll be damned if someone's going to try and tax me for breathing. Also how can you prove to me that there is human-caused climate change if we already observe natural climate change? Do this experiment. Fill a bowl of water and mark where the waterline is. Notice the water level rises. Let the ice melt and see what happens. It's a pretty simple experiment.
