bry1888 Hi I'm 66 now and I remember the same thing back in Glesca when I was a kid. I miss the old folks and the good times we had with the neighbours and relatives at Xmas and New years eve. This kind of music was always played up untill the bells and then it was the skirl of the pipes and the party got even livelier.

How I love hearing this man sing! The songs he has written or course are on a par with Willie. Willie, Merle and George Jones on one stage would really draw a stamped. These are real American singers singing America songs!

Today at age 73,Merle is haggard. LOL No offense given,but the man is a senior citizen and outlived fellow country music legend Johnny Cash.
