Grenade launchers are still underpowered

Parachutes are still overpowered

Grenade explosions still look weak and small

Many guns still sound wierd

Different teams still not well balanced (MEC gets a semi auto sniper)

Game still not very well optimised, random lag spikes (and no, it is not my internet connection or my computer, my computer can run Crysis 2 with less lag than this)

I love how "J-10 balanced" is on the 1.5 change list when they didn't change the J-10 at all. Looking at the tweak files before and after the patch they all remained the same. Which DICE basically did to get people to stop whining about it seeming unbalanced. I could care less either way but it made me chuckle a little when I realized it after the release.

@YTF00CKR If you download a "full" version of patch 1.41 (not a "upgrade" one) you can install it directly on to your 1.0 version of the game ( i did so a week ago, works fine). Now the patches should be marked, but if you are in doubt the "full" version of the patch is roughly 550 MB (0.55 GB).

hey I got the original BF2 disk and I'm wondering is it possible for me to get unlocks or do I need to buy the expansion pack?.

to be honest I got this game a few years ago and had I known back then I need expansion pack to get unlocks, I would of bought it instead. Also I know ranking plays a role in-order to get unlock but I ranked 3 or 4 times already and still no unlock, nor does my medals showed on the BF HQ

@ChaoticGodz I've got both a dloaded 1.0 and a bought 1.5. From my experience, you still have the first set of unlocks (not the 2nd set you get with expands) in 1.0 without need of ranking, since BFHQ stats are not recorded anymore there (instead, your stats are server sided, meaning they will be kept on the servers you play on and only there). I.O.W, you should automatically get all unlocks in 1.0 if the server allows it. (but again, this is my experience)

@systemhalodark Yes, stats ARE recorded by EA and NOT on server databases. You DO have to be playing with patch 1.41 and updated with1.5 though, AND play on RANKED servers only if you want your stats recorded (BFHQ). You say you have 1.0? And you paid for 1.5? What are you talking about man? 1.5 is a free patch! They all are.

@battydtno1 actually its the logo of TV2, not nrk2 (although they are both norwegian channels). And the reason is that this movie was made by a BF2 community called TV2. They do not, anymore atleast, have any real ties with TV2 (i think), but i do believe they did in the begining, and the name has stuck. But i might be wrong, so feel free to correct me.

This applies to the console versions as well as the PC version of the game, so the beta code will probably apply to the corresponding platform you purchased Medal of Honor on. That's why I'm getting MOH for Christmas hopefully! :D because BF2 is my favorite game ever. Got all expansions... It's awesome :)
