  • if it wasnt for the eastern front the soviets would have invaded europe and turn it to communist and people will suffer terribly in russian hands and the cold war will start early

  • @armalite762 Correct

  • Accually german losses must be counted with it allies. It makes about 8 mlns of losses. Soviet battle losses was about 8 mlns either. Not 10 mlns. Still huge so. But notice that half of soviet losses was POW losses taken in 1941. Germans killed them by hunger nd inhuman treatments. USSR took even more german POWs at the end of war but didn't killed them. If Russians treated german POWs like Gerrman did then german losses would be way higher.

  • @kolja2003 germany and its allies casualties during the 7 year second world war was 8 million military deaths in both western and eastern front while the allies and soviet union have 16 to 20 million military deaths.

  • The young german soldier at 2:32 looks very unlucky!fuck the eastern front!

  • In a recent study released in 2000, total german casualties on the eastern front, up to Dec 31, 1944 were 2,742,909. During the same period of time germany suffered 339,957 casualties on the western front. In 1945 alone there were 1,230,045 german casualties defending the germany. These stats were published by Dr. Rüdiger Overmans. Nice video.

  • super info...super musik

  • Stalin was too good for you fuckers. If it was me I would have murdered all of you germans and make the fatherland - Russian lebensraum.

  • @ndtexpert its people like you who make me feel ashamed to be a human

  • @armalite762

......and the battalions etc that were moved from the Eastern front to North Africa,...Italy,...Normandy etc. Your assumptions are,...well,...assumptions...........

  • @armalite762 the red army definitely took the most of germanys war effort. but i don't think the USA and Commonwealth were anywhere near to losing the fight except for the initial landings were they could have been pushed back into the sea had germany known where they were landing.

  • @0willsy01 Luftwaffe Aircraft Used Only Against Allied Bombers

    June 1940 0% , June 1941 7%, June 1942 17%, June 1943 21%, June 1944 29%, January 1945 50%

yeah its too bad that most generals always fight last war. so many lives would be saved.

  • @0willsy01 since the Atlantic war only involved u-boats and small number of planes and rebels groups were really only bothering germans in Yugoslavia, France and Belgium, the majority of "not on the Eastern front" action was in USSR fighting partizans. which were part of USSR's fighting too, no ? and yes Soviets had more casualties just like every other country who was the target of a blitzkrieg. and as per casualty numbers they only suffered 2:1 losses which is not that bad all considered...

  • i am not in any way, shape or form defending the crimes commited by the SS and Einstazgrupen.......those were the worst crimes commited in the history of warfare....i am just simply stating that german army units lasted as long as they did because of tactical withdraws and skilled operational planning....the russians just used the "human wave" method...thats why the red army casualty rates were so high compared to the german army

  • this guy is way off..the germans lost around 2 million men while the russian casualty rates were around 15-20 million or more,,the worst year of the war for the german army was between 1941-1942...german soldiers referred to this time period as the "year of the dead man".. for the amount of manpower and material the germans lost...it is amazing that they held on as long as they did..even though its leaders were highly incompetent...the army itself operated on an amazing functional level

  • @sssssssss999999 yeah they had good tactics until hitler would say "hold it to the last man"

and the red army actually used more than the human wave later in the war, thats how they started to overcome the germans. human wave combined with a little tactics.

  • @tilorb thats true.....the lessons and tactics that the red army learned especially at Stalingrad.... fighting house to house, block by block........they implemented very well in the battle for Berlin

  • @0willsy01 well considering that USSR successfully fought off Germany, Italy, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria up until 1943 I'd say USSR could hold the candle and stick in Germany's ass just fine... and if we are to mention support, then Germany had the whole Europe's industry working for it as compared to the measly shipments by boats that soviets got from the US.

  • vodka doesnt freeze but nazi butt does!! haha

  • Germans basically lost the eastern front because of the harsh winter the german tanks got stuck in snow and mud troops froze to death etc etc, IF the winter didnt get that harsh the germans would of most likley have conquered Moscow like they did Paris.

And U.S. soldiers arnt cowards just because they refused to commit suicide means they are cowards all of a sudden? If you were going to attack lets say the siegfried line for example, wouldnt you want air support?

  • @Jay22110001 What a shit!

    Woot.

  • @addernoir01 haha yeah right.

  • Comment removed

  • @eliasII hahaha yeah right..

  • Reassessment of the opponent is a mistake. Underestimation of the opponent is a greater mistake. Hitler has underestimated Russian, for as has paid....

  • @armalite762

  • @armalite762 People today are being brainwashed by american propaganda. only a few see the truth

  • lol.. US losses for the entire ware at about 400k soldiers and German soldiers lost 300 000 troops in STALINGRAD!! alone. One battle for one city.. so come on.. at the end, the western Democracies realized, quote Churchill: "we have slain the wrong pig"

And the Russians had to ally with Britain and US to stop Germany. Ok, a part of our defeat is also dedicated to severe mistakes of the Fuhrer like assuming the whole warfare in the east instead of leaving it to his experienced military heads.

  • @Sp4wn82

first the airforce, then artillery, then the tanks, then the niggers...come on.

    us soldiers are cowards!!

    no blood. no honour.

  • @eliasII yes thats what I meant. Allies (except Soviets) were concerned about losses.. they just cleaned up, when the work was done by the Soviets.

The German Wehrmacht was one of the best equipped and trained forces ever in history, they really could have stormed the whole world. The German and Soviet army fought the biggest struggle of strength in history and like in WW I we lost due to a failing war management, which only decided on prestige than in proper requirements of the battlefield.

  • @Sp4wn82 the Soviet Alliance to the Allies were not really effective..we all know the Britin will avenge France from Germany without being an ally to the Soviets

  • @eliasII you sound like a complete idiot. first of all the u.s. soldiers are not cowards & secondly the us soldier is still in business. where is the waffen ss? only in the history books & the cobwebs of your mind. you sound like those other idiots of the confederacy. they lost too. will you guys just get over it? the confederacy is Dead & the waffen ss is Dead! 'if, if, if, if this happened or if that happened, we would have won'. but they did'nt. you sound like whinny bitches. get over it!

  • @Sp4wn82 what's this nonsense about "have to ally with Br. and US to stop germany" ? You lost the war long before 1943 when the allies landed in Europe. And mistakes by leadership is the biggest part of losing most of the wars anyway. just like soviets were losing the first year of the war because they couldn't grasp the Blitzkreig concept and were fighting WWI with their sea to sea fronts instead of concentrating their forces along the roads...

  • @armalite762 Thank you for knowing the facts and not being an ignorant american fuck

  • 1:33-1:42, 4:33-4:35 They are hungarians

  • Zetterling, Zaloga and Glantz studies are showing that Germans lost 95% of their Navy ships, 75% of aircraft and 35% of APV's against western allies.

And what Zhukov mentioned in 1963 is interesting:

"It is now said that the Allies never helped us . . . However, one cannot deny

that the Americans gave us so much material, without which we could not have

formed our reserves and ***COULD NOT HAVE CONTINUED THE WAR. "

So dear russian patriots - what are you thinking about these facts?

  • @pelontorjunta The U.S did the same for England

  • There were cases when US forces refused to attack german positions unless there was air support

  • хуйня

  • @Tixabudov Чё хуйня то...? Намана !!!

  • very nice, thanks

  • Awsome vidio

  • R.I.P soldiers burn in hell nazis

  • @buchsenwunder They werent all nazis dumb ass

  • 2 million died on the eastern front? The poster of this video is worong, it was over 30 million casualties on the eastern front for all sides,.

  • germany == AMERICA'S BITCH

  • @millenium2003 let me correct that for you. germany equals = RUSSIA'S BITCH

  • lol playball of big nations?

get the fuck outta ehre stupid german nazi

  • @bleushift cmon man fuck your mom

we germans are the greatest nation we fihted against the 3 biggest military forces at the same time and we hit you hard.

but at least today there are less geman nazis as for an example russian or something...

so germany Iis NOT A NAZI LAND

we got many immigrants also... =)

  • @khalid1111ify You are right, the Germans fought against more than half the world. instead of calling everyone in the Wehrmacht a Nazi, people should have respect that they fought so hard and even towards the End!

  • @khalid1111ify Germany is cool and all...but you are far from being the greatest nation haha. If Germany is the greatest nation then how come there are U.S military bases there? Oh thats right....you lost. And your leader was too much of a coward to face the consequences and died the most dishonorable death in the military. Suicide. You hit us hard? America lost about 416 thousand troops due to actual warfare, where as germany lost over 5 and half million. Id say we hit you hell of a lot harder.

  • @AllAboutLearning

Was the US versing 53 countries at a time??? No.

Did germany manage to keep its industry up and running despite the mass bombings?? yes.

Did america invent sinthetic fuels?? No.

Did america invent the jet??? No.

Did america invent V2s which were capable of flying out of spance and back down to earth to blow up cities?? No.

Did america have the superior tanks on the battlefield back then?? No.

Did america have the superior tactics back then aswell? no.

  • @lovefishin101 Wow, your just a litttle nazi hitler arent you

  • @AllAboutLearning Since when is suicide dishonorable? Surrender is dishonorable you moron.

  • @Gravepandaman I don't think surrender is dishonourable. When fight is odd, what can you do?

  • @albertop952 Fight till the end.

  • ..... as he didnt think stalin would break the ten year non aggression treaty signed in 1939 (molotov ribbentrop pact). Not some pre emptive attack against a soviet attack on 1941 Europe, people please back me up on this one as it is a shame people with distorted views try and preach the wrong ideas about a war many of our servicemen fought in!!!

  • I dont know Im sick and tired of reading peoples ridiculuos opinions on their 'imagined' versions of the second world war. gyyoutub445 Germany launched operation barbarossa the invasion of the soviet union in 1941 to gain lebensruam or livingspace as part of the nazi idealology, the reason it was a great success for the wehrmacht to start with is due to the russian army's outdated tactics, poor leadership due to stalins purges and the fact that stalin refused to believe it was an invasion......

  • In 1941 the russians want to invade Europe. The germans knew that and they made a preventing attack what nearly destroyed the Red Army, because the russians didn't prepared for defense. Later the germans failed in the harsh winter, and Eastern Europe fell into communist terror.

  • @gyyoutub445

Oh yeah, THE COMMUNIST TERROR...in which many countries prospered, and in which there was no racism, and no bullshit. Sorry to say mate, but I would skin every SS member alive, and roll him in salt for what he has done. The Wermacht didn't agree with the war, and the Whermacht was made of honorable soldiers, veterans, not lowlife scums like the SS.

  • thats correct. Russia wanted attack gemany even in 30er but the britsh were against.then in 1941. poland wanted attack germany in 30er together with france but they disagree

  • @Radagis2 man your full of s*** get your facts right
