In real life, if the Satellite(s) comes down to Earth it would be annihilated by the atmosphere before ever reaching the surface, but if the Satellite happens to be a extremely incredibility strong armored machine then it would pierce through the atmosphere like a hot sword through weak flesh and blow up on the surface. In one of the soviet missions the Allies send the Emmision Carrier to talk about peace. When you're allowed to attack immideatly use the no-gravity beam, and then the orbital drop on their own sea port.. such alot of fun seeing a huge ship being dropped on a harbour!

I really like the way the magnetic satellite sucks stuff up, like buildings. Since I've never played the game, is there a limit to what can be magnetized then dropped. Like if the satellite was used 10 times, will it also drop the previous things sucked up once the orbital down pour is used?

FenixT93, its because teleportaion in its currect form is about bendimg either light or traviling trough a wormhole, essentially both are impossible, its just the RA's universe of handle it. its perfecly clear why you dont understand it, it isnt to be understanded, its just fun :D.

when you use magnetic satelitte and after that use orbital drop, I think the blue orbs are replaced by the vehicles you sucked up with magnetic satelitte. That is where the strength lies of orbital drop.

i just tried it! the graphics is cartoonish, so not as good as c&c3 but the gameplay is very good, it's like a combination of RA2, generals and c&c3. the AI is smart and will exploit your weakness.

it's too bad, this game could rival starcraft 2 and CoH if EA took time to debug and balance it.

also has the most beautiful water in a game i've ever seen.

hey chill out! why wouldnt i reply! i always reply. So here is what you have to do to take it. First of all, since it is a Top secret protocol, you have to choose it from the Top secret protocol weapons list which is located on the left bottom of the screen. Once you open that window, on the middle selection you will see that the second or third option is the desolator airstrike (which has 3 stages, with the 3rd being the best which is shown in that vid)

Select it and thats it! Hope i helped!

The superweapons seen in the video dont need a building and they work just like in Generals (except for the Iron Curtain that needs a building)

Generally the , as called in the game, Secret protocol weapons dont require a Structure, but the actual superweapons do.

from my own experience so far, the power of orbital downpour depends on the amount of stuff sucked up my magnetic satellite before. if one has sucked some really heavy stuff, like an aircraft carrier, the damage caused is huge. otherwise it does not do much good to you

ok, you fire the magnetic sattelite first and then you select it by draging the mouse over it (like when you want to select a group of units) once you do that, you right click the location which you want the mag.sat to go.

its used for example / u wanna attack them with 5 hammer tanks , pick a unit to get toxic bombed / then u go attack / when that tank explodes the place will be radiated
