Great to hear the Lonesome cowboy interview these guys back in 89 i remember hearing the radio show rockline with host Bob Coburn intervied brian and rog for the miracle album and brian said it will tickle his feet with joy about being on an american stage and roger being equally excited it sure as hell did sound they were going to tour. but sadly we all do know the outcome
It's heartbreaking to go back to 1984 and see the video for Radio Ga Ga, and then return to 1989 and see the video for I Want it All... you wouldn't notice Freddie was sick necessarily from watching videos from 1989 alone, but when you compare them to when he was healthy you truly do notice a horrible difference.
heh, must have been in one of my "I hate L.A." moods when I posted that ... I mean that Brian could either mean "something about L.A. makes me feel spiritual" or "I feel spiritual in comparison to all the shallowness of Los Angeles" (pretty sure he meant the first one, actually)
apologies to anyone from L.A., it's a strange place if you're not a native
lol.. about hit the floor laughing when Brian says he feels "one step higher spiritually" in L.A. I live in the 'strange island of odd humanity,' I think there are definitely two ways to take that comment...
Awww, Brian. Covering for Freddie again. (The touring question). ~sigh~

Bri: "Well, I've always loved Los Angeles. It feels like one spiritual step above everything else"
Rog: ...
Bri: I just feel at home.
-silence-
Rog: Once a girl I was dating here got her breasts out.
Bri: ...
Rog: Just like that. In the middle of a restaurant and all.
Bri: Did you marry her?
Rog: No, but I wanted to...
LOL ROG. <3
