I'm guessing you haven't played the previous games if you though stan's jacket was a glitch. You're missing out! Tales of monkey island were good but for someone reason they just didn't feel quite as good. I felt cheated on episode 4 too because it had almost identical areas to episode one.

I thing with Stan's jacket also was in the previous games, I think the thing with Stan's jacket is a reference to the old Loony Tunes cartoons where anyone who ever wore plaid had that weird stationary pattern while they moved... either that or they're just tyring to be funny.

To be honest you don't need a powerful Pc to run this at all. I only own the first chapter on the Wii and couldn't stand the muddled graphics and terrible sound and frame rate so I didn't bother with the other one. Once I actually tested the demo on a 300 dollar laptop it ran perfectly smoother and looked way better than the Wii version. I might look foward on getting it for christmas maybe. Perfect christmas gift if you ask me cause all Season Finaly coming out December 8 :D

Love the way they made Stans jacket in the new games :) Though it looked just as annoying in the dos-games, haha.

Nope, haven't played a monkey island game previous to this for about 16 years or so. So I have no recollection of it. Nonetheless, the coat was still distracting and my point is still valid. Not that it should deter you in any way shape or form from this wonderful game.

Stan's shirt texture and effects are intentional.

It was probably a mistake in the first monkey island in '91, which I think they decided to continue for all the other monkey island titles. It's also very noticeable in Monkey Island 4 (Escape from Monkey Island)

as for the jackets i dont think its a glitch....in lots of cartoons that use those kinds of jackets that have those patterns usually always dont move or anything but when the charachter moves they odne move but just like a bluescreeneffect (or green ) they will remain in place where the only blue spot on camera is

You can't really tell that's a spoiler. It only is if you look really closely, and even then you may still not see it, or understand why it is.

The jacket is intentional :) It can also be seen in the 'I wonder what happens in..."-video.

I think it's actually harder to make this way.
