Its great to have all 8 of these pieces grouped like this...because they show us such a wonderful portrait of the
great poetic temperament that inhabited Franz Liszt. I found all eight pieces beautiful and very highly realized..excellent ballance between the intruments, if i might express myself a little...so the timber of the sound is emphasized which is always at the very heart of his music. Knowing these pieces is to know Liszt so intimately, it is a gift to hear them, thank you!
