Film Pardes was much liked by my late Mamoon Rahim Baksh Baloch. When I was a child he always told story of this film to family kids. May God bless his soul in peace. There is also a saying that while contracting a film Madhubala emphasis that her playback singer must be Lata Mangeshker. Only OP Nayyar dare to reject it and she did not turn him down
