I love this game and the song is so pretty, It took me a year just to beat this game, it will always be my favorite out of all the Elder Scrolls, the other games have good graphics but I like the story line to morrowind and all the cool creepy made up creatures, PLUS you can levitate! :O

Where's the love for Oblivion? Oblivion is a great game with a captivating story! Morrowind is fun, but you have to work to become involved in the story and game world. There aren't too many scripted events that push the story forward.

Skyrim fixes some of the more acute problems and brokenness, but seems like a polished turd with most of the Oblivion retardation intact. Oblivion's hugest problem was the retard-as-fuck level scaling (that shit was one of the most broken down messes I've seen), and Skyrim's implementation is only marginally better. The puzzles are pretty much so retarded that they might as well not be there, and the dungeon design is a clusterfuck. It is, overall, a polished turd.
@Morrowinda And Oblivion it was so generic in the general sense. It would be grand if Bethesda would recreate Morrowind for the iPad/2. The console element is what's killing TES, imo.

I'am honestly surprised that there are no medieval flails in any of the ElderScrolls games. They have mace but not flails. I thought a game that takes place, well kind of in the medieval ages would have those! If you do not know what I'am talking about, then look them up on google images. You have seen them before.
I never played any of the games, but the graphics of Morrowind look more appealing to me than the graphics of Skyrim. In Skyrim, they aimed for realism, but to my opinion, it turned out for the worst. In Morrowind, the graphics have a slightly cartoonish feeling, which makes them more suitable for the genre.

Morrowind isn't exactly better than Oblivion and Skyrim, but the progress from Daggerfall to MW was revolutionary, while MW to OL was an evolution, and so was OL to Skyrim.

In Skyrim, they aimed for realism, but to my opinion, it turned out for the worst. In Morrowind, the graphics have a slightly cartoonish feeling, which makes them more suitable for the genre.

Oblivion was my first Elder scrolls game. Then i bought Skyrim and i was like : '' OOOH MY GOD!! THIS IS SO AWESOME AND EPIC!!'' And then i still wanted MorrowinD and Arena and Daggerfall . Now i have played all the Elder Scrolls :)

This is still the best.Sure,many things were more primitive,but the atmosphere(which is imao the most important part in an RPG)is much more unique.Oblivion's just a standard fantasy game,Skyrim's nordic environment is great,but seriously..walking among giant mushrooms while men in romanesque armor fight with bizarre creatures..it really gives you the feeling that you're in a dreamworld,which is every fantasy game's goal.Not to mention the great story,the unique soundtrack and so on...

I hope that they remake this with better combat. Like what they did with halo. But it won't come next year (morrowinds 10th anniversary) and fallout 4 will come out before that but i love fallout as much as elder scrolls. Our for a dlc for skyrim we get to go to morrowind

Morrowind isn't exactly better than Oblivion and Skyrim, but the progress from Daggerfall to MW was revolutionary, while MW to OL was an evolution, and so was OL to Skyrim.

But to say it isn't a better game simply because it is older, makes no sense.
Theres a reason "classics" will be known forever, and "good games" will be quickly forgotten.
Not that skyrim isn't a absolutely amazing game (easily game of year), or that oblvion isn't epic. But morrowind started it all, it was the pinnacle of the elder scrolls, because it rose the standard for all RPGs.

Morrowind > skyrim > Oblivion.
All three are epics, but morrowind was one of the largest turning points in rpg gaming.
Oblivion was epic, but not at the level of Morrowind, and skyrim is simply awesome and imo better than oblivion, however still falls short of it's older brother morrowind.

@TheWitchking123 personally i prefer morrowind, but i think nostalgia plays a big part in that. the story, setting and characters are better in morrowind i think, but the combat and leveling of skyrim is better. depends what you want really. i feel as though skyrim is more an action adventure game, and morrowind is a true rpg

@TheWitchking123 i think oblivion has poor leveling and combat, and a mediocre storyline. fr me it ges morrowind>skyrim>oblivion. but thats not to say oblivion isnt worth playing, because its still a great game. i just hate the way you have to min max in it, and things like how bandits ask for 100 gold whilst wearing glass armour. its a little ill throughout gameplay wise is all
