  • I have owned two of these cube 60 amps. I also have a micro cube. These amps sound just like this video. They are fantastic amps.

  • if only the amp sounded this good, its actually quite bad

  • johnny demarco cops flak from time to time, but at the end of the day....he's a better guitarist than you

  • cool amp, my first amp was the micro cube and its nice having all the Boss effects

  • 1:52 in between "playing light" and "playing hard" you can totally hear him stomping on a volume pedal, turning up the gain. bullshit.

  • 0:45

  • Johnny DeMarco can make his guitar... um... speak... check the transcriber around 3:23 - it says things like 'dude' or 3:42 'brenda' :D and other stuff

  • he makes faces as if the sound is coming out of his mouth

  • All the people slamming the way he smiles are silly. This guy is a fine guitarist. Also, he is articulate and explains the amp clearly and in a helpful manner, actually demonstrating the amp's potential in a clear and visible manner. He's wearing the hat here of a professional sales rep for Roland, which is probably not that easy of a job, if you think about it. This is a very informative and helpful video. It's an improvement over basement/bedroom gear reviews.

  • thx for the info :)

  • Maybe he looks like a gay, but he's also great guitarist.

  • he's like the bob ross of guitar lol...such a happy calm soul

  • 0:13 just jizzed himself!

  • i hate when guitarists play and shake their whole body moving leeps and closing eyes because they think that they are cool but this guy plays nice but i hate when he is doing that

  • @MatKiller1197 Well, that's your opinion I guess. He's not doing it because "he thinks he's cool" but I'm not going to argue, just don't watch if you don't like it.

  • @TheEternalLeader i like listening to it but hating watching it so i change page read something and listen

  • @MatKiller1197 Oh, I see, that sounds hard to do, lol. I need to be able to see what's going on ^^

  • @TheEternalLeader whatever man peace out stay metal \m/

  • i think i found napolenon dynamites guitar playing father

  • the parody is betterXD

  • 3:27 He puts on Delay, not reverb.. >.<

  • This is guy is too happy his tripping!

  • This guy is a little bit too affected.

  • I don't think the multicolor guitar is an Ibanez. I tried to look up some well known guitar manufacturers but could not find it. If someone knows then let me know.

    Thx.

  • @huligany It's a Kramer guitar.

  • hey, settle down guys. This amp ranks up there with the best of them... Peavey Rage 158, Line 6 spider, Behringer V-Tone GM108, and the Fender Rumble.

  • Such a douche but such a good player.

  • 0:42 Transcribe audio: Iraq had everynody on Johnny demarco and this is the world waking up sick the economy

    LOL

  • FIRED.....

  • LOL 0:45

  • bag of deusche

  • this guy is so corny, stuck in perpetual 1980's cheese.

  • @blastofo

    What's wrong with the '80s?

  • @WoWintosh everyone forgot how to play an acoustic guitar

  • @blastofo I agree with you, I think he's one of the biggest demo-douchebags out there, but as a musician I've gotta give credit where it's due. On the guitar he's badder than most famous guitarists and unknowns alike. You don't have to like him, but no one can dispute or refute his abilities.

  • khaldis own fifteen sixteen has a great model of a classic black family lmao

  • cc: iraq had everybody on johnny demarco lmao

  • wife? haha more like husband

  • wow... he shouldnt be alowed to play guitar.... ever.... my god

  • he talks and sounds like michael jackson

  • I saw a man with mental issues walk out of the Psych ward once; he kind of looked and sounded like this.

  • At 0:45 he gives use the finger.

  • this video proves you can be a really good guitar player and still be a complete fucking douch bag

  • C'est un trou de cul, i se prend pas pour une merde et sa m'énèreve le gens comme sa

  • Do anyone know what songs he's playing?

Especially the first and the last

  • @maiden4maiden the Roland cube amps are great i can get any tone i want from my cube 30 and i play a classic fender..

  • Guys, don't listen to this amp -->

    Look I got a Very Good amp of 250 euro's ($300)

And it sucks with my guitar --> You need to buy a good guitar, this guy is using each other effect an other guitar --> That's why it sounds so good.

This Roland Cube is 50 euro and it sounds better then my expensive one --> it's just because of the guitar guys,

I'm gonna buy a new guitar, but this guy uses a guitar of like $1000,-

  • @Maiden4Maiden Or your amp just is genuinely Shite, Ofcourse the guitar makes a difference but if you play a £3000 guitar through a crap amp geuss what. it will still sound shit

  • "juuuussst a little bit!(...)" Hahahahaha... Like Bill & Ted said: "Bogus!!!"

  • What has this guy been smoking.

And where can i get some.

  • He's the lost Wayne's world roadie... Hilarious guy

  • Notice how fuzzy this video is

Imagine this guy's face in HD!

  • Every time i here him play he inspires me to pick up my guitar and play

  • this dude looks like the product of jim ross and cindy lauper having a child..

  • I love this video. I have no interest in buying the amp, but this guy is unintentionally hilarious.

  • does anybody know the song at 2:58?

  • what a corny faggot. get a haircut.

  • I dont like this guy...too dramatic and phony for me.

  • I don't like the sound at all.

  • @5:25 lol :P

  • "It has all the flexibility for stage or studio!" Oh no, I'm not taking that piece of shit to a studio, and a Roland Cube for a live gig? I would be laughed off the stage :D

  • @drugdrunkker haha, exactly.

  • This guy is really good at playing guitar !

  • 2:29 sounds like 'pull me under' by dream theater

  • nice orgasm?

  • Weird Al's bro'?

  • what it will be if in 5:02 Johhny dont rip my face off, but instead ot that...will shit his pants, because of excitation ?

    just kidding :)

  • I hate this guy, but admire his happiness.

  • @axelsteel05 I really don't know why, but in the video about vox products he seems very serious if not sad... Perhaps rolands simply pays him better!

  • @axelsteel05 what did he do to you and you hate him

  • i like how he flicks us off at 0:45 cos he's so badass

  • at 0:43 his hand shows us it's opinion about us ;-)

  • I wish I could find tabs for some of the stuff he plays haha it's so nice :)

  • Damn that awesome pedo smile at 2:42.

  • can some one tell me more about the foot swtich? like do i need those two in one pedal because i only want to change the channel on the amp.... on the video he pushed the pedal B but what would happen if he pushed pedal A after that???

  • @lvcreed You can change it around buddy, like you can use just one instead of both, I sometimes use two, one to change the channel and the other to add effects, etc. If you still don't understand just let me know :)

  • holy crap 666 likes i must stand for whats right and like this video!!!

  • holy crap 666 likes lol

  • this guy licked one too many urinal cakes in his day!

  • Is that the son of Bob Ross?

  • Ha....i had that same krammer....it was a piece of shit.

  • He's so good he made me fell off my unicorn.

  • You are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What's he playing at 5:15?

  • it sounds like a rip off of holy wars by megadeth

  • 4:10 effeminate version of Angus Young...

  • harder, thats wat she said

  • what the fuck is wrong with his face!?

  • 5:03 nice fuck :)

  • this amp amazes me. If i were a beginner again, i would deffinatly buy it.

  • i'd love to see that guy going crazy on stage while soloing

  • man that guitar looks like a dean slept with his cousin

  • The funny thing is that he moves and acts as someone that wouldn't rock at all, but he's actually destroying that guitars lol

  • Holy Jesus Muffins, I played through one of these amps and without thinking about it I started playing johnny demarco riffs. Now THAT is some scary shit, man.

  • @WoWintosh wow, like OMG.... that is like, so just totally AWESOME!

  • amazing amp.....very good tones

  • lol i saw that last guitar used at the demonstration of the Roland GR-20 guitar synth too and the pickup that comes with it is still on the guitar!

  • lol i saw that same guitar used at the demonstration of the Roland GR-20 and the pickup that comes with it is still on the guitar!

  • Could some1 answer a question i have? I am about to buy a Roland Cube80X, And i was wondering, with my marshall i insert a distortion pedal into the input channel, but with a roland cube80X, can i put the distortion pedal somewhere else? as i have figured out the pedal change the amp sound once it comes out, so in my theory, it doesn`t work that way, but i need to know, i also get alot of fuzz in my marshall when the pedal is hooked up to it...

  • @munkholm45 bad cables can cause fuzz... and the ds pedal is preferred at the input...

  • Great demo and a great amp. That dude kicks ass.

  • I wonder if he makes the same faces during sex. Also, he talks like Sarah Palin

  • Johnny DeMarco. The funny guy, but kicks your ass at guitar.

  • I've had this amp for more than three years and I love it.

It served me well all until recently when volume started to go up and down on its own

and most of the time it sounds like farthing. Is it the speaker gone bad or something else. I would appreciate any help. Thanx

  • @Skullbastard i bet the voice coil has went bad on the speaker ive had em do that and when i push in on the speaker itll stop and work normal until it plays for a min if u can get to the back of the speaker unhook a speaker wire make sure it doesnt touch anything tape it and use a ext speaker see if it still does it

  • @darknature79 Thanx for the advice.

  • This guy is a creep

  • " Now, Im just gonna stick the penis head in his butt hole, Just a little bit. Check this out"

  • i dont get the sex offender jokes

  • hahaha the face at 0:25 is unreallllllll!

  • I have the Cube 30x, and I was wondering if I could connect to a larger watt guitar amp by the headphone's jack?

  • @Quakelord1991 The headphone jack is too much signal for the pre amps in a larger amp. It will distort in a way you won't like. It works if you keep the headphone jack signal very low.

  • @BanjoMan550 So you're saying it will still work? Even when I lower down the volume?

  • @Quakelord1991 Think of it this way. Use the Cube 30x as a "preamp" for the larger amp. Keep the Cube's volume very low then raise it just enough to get a clean sound from the high power amp then don't change it. When you raise the Cube volume too high the power amp will distort. When you have it sounding the way you want at low volume then raise the volume on the power amp to the level you want to play at.

  • @BanjoMan550 Ok, sounds good. Now would it possible for me to hook my amp onto a cabinet? And also, what should I use for connecting to larger watted amps (headphone jack, guitar cable, etc.)?

  • @Quakelord1991 I looked at the Cube 60 outputs on their webpage. Here it is. Multiple outputs, including Recording/Phones Out, Line Out, Tuner Out and Ext Speaker Out (for connecting external cabinets). The output you want depends on the end result you're after. So I have to ask what's the purpose of this reconnecting? Are you after more volume? With this many outputs the Roland can deliver anything you want. I normally use Line Out for connecting to other amps because it's level is constant.

  • @BanjoMan550 Yes, I'm looking for more volume in case I had to perform at a large place with someone that has more watts than me. And I have the Cube 30X as I mentioned before. It has outputs for:

    Recording/Headphones

    Input

    Aux In

    Footswitch

Tell me what Line Out exactly does, I have that output on my 15W acoustic guitar amp but I have no clue what it's purpose is used for.

  • @Quakelord1991 Line Out is a regulated signal that doesn't exceed 1Vrms usually. It duplicates the guitar and effects but gives you enough signal to operate a power amp but not enough to distort and overdrive the power amp. In your case the Roland 30 would be serving as a preamp for a larger output amp. Line Out is a nice clean signal that can be applied to all sorts of amps. Mixers, cabs, etc.

  • @Quakelord1991 I know a few jazz players that use a small 15 or 20 watt for every job. They simply place a microphone in front of it. If you like the signal you get from the 15 you can use Line Out or a microphone in front of either amp. Use the Headphone jack if you want but remember it's a power signal not a line signal. It's large enough to overdrive another amp. Set your output amp at 3-4 and slowly raise the gain on the Roland until you get a clean sound. Then maximize on the power amp.

  • @Quakelord1991 What about the amp you are connecting to. What are it's inputs. Remember that Low to High is ok. A small signal can be amplified. High to Low is not so good. A high signal input to a preamp on the high wattage power amp is not good but connecting to the power amp directly is ok. (skip the preamp). It all boils down to stuffing an amount of signal into an amp that it can swallow.

  • @Quakelord1991 Amps generally have three stages. Preamp or tuner, then the middle or mixing stage, then the output or poweramp stage. Signal injection must happen at a stage that can 1. sense the level of the signal, and 2. not be overdriven by too high of a signal.

  • Guys like this, grunts of the industry, always amaze me at how many different styles they can play well.

  • I want this guitar!!!

  • You punks cut the crap! Johnny is a class AAA dude and NOT a sexual offender you monkey dung brain dead idiots! The only thing he whips ass on is the guitar! Jealousy will get you nowhere you piss ants! Listen and learn from a PRO!
