u do realize the transition from acoustic to electric is surprisingly easy.doesn't kill ur fingers at all.u can tune it into any bad-ass tone u want to hear and it looks much more sexy.just have to make urself used to picking if u've only done strumming but any1 who has learnt the acoustic would know that and would catch up really quick

I need help. I'm just learning guitar and i plugged my electric and tried to play this but how come my sound doesn't resonate as long like this. When i pluck the strings the sound doesn't last as long is what im trying to say. How do I make it sound like this?

@nguyenmarin If your amp has reverb then turn it up, that helps to sustain the note :)

I've seen the Pixies live in Toulouse France today and the lead guitarist plays the riff like poppyto does in this video. I used to play the riff like you do but now I play it the "right way" cause I think it actually sounds better that way...

they literally are the same notes. 9th fret g-string = 5th fret a-string and 9th fret b-string = 4th fret e-string.

The "way out in the water see it swimmin" part goes like this:-

Then play theese 2 chords for the fill:-

446654, 224442. Then back to verse chords.
