Nicely done Ronnie! Are you sight-reading while playing? That's a great skill - one that I've never been able to master. You've got a hint of "nasty" in your voice too. Would love to hear you stretch with something more bluesy (Like a Rolling Stone perhaps?) as I think you could make it shine. Thanx, thanx! .... no, not reading music, just had the words in front of me, otherwise I get mixed up! :o) I've loved this song for a long time, forgot about it, then came across it again recently. It's profound. But the music is simple, just 3 chords or so... I'm just improvising, trying to remember the melody as he sang it, combined with my own twists and turns... @RonnieFriend Just like most of Dylan's work - lyrically profound and seemingly simple chord structures. However, Dylan never performs anything the same way consistently so finding the groove that fits your style when doing a Dylan tune is not easy. It's what made the Band so great - they could follow Dylan, even live. It's amazing how many people have covered this song on YouTube! It fits my impression of you - your passion for music and your wide tastes in songs and artists. Keep 'em coming!
