The infamous word "fine". Read a book!! Many things cause fear to a child & as a parent I should guide her through it. My daughter does not like the vacuum, but she knows that if I hold her hand or smile, she is safe. That's what you call attachment parenting. This was 100% unnecessary stress on the child, strapped in her car seat & not getting the needed support to reinforce that she's safe. We don't remember events, but anxiety will remains. 1/3 of american surfers from mental for a reason!

From a health point of view, this is so sad!! The worst part is ppl don't know any better and why this actually affects a child's' brain. We can't prevent them from everything, but that was 100% unnecessary for her to experience! I wish more people would grasp the concept of anxiety and also how the first 5 years of a child successful development in life revolves around positive experiences which allows neurons to grow properly. Vacuums, weird noises, bad singing, car washes. You can't sheild your child from things like this or they will grow up in a bubble and have more issues when they go out into the real world.
