  • What pressure does it get up to?

  • @gammarotor probably about 40 psi but when it cools down it makes a vaacum so the best is to quickly remove the valve and put an air compressor to fill the tire as quickly as possible

  • "How to put a tire on like a boss"

  • yeah can someone explain how this works exactly

  • @lifeline5288 It works by rapid expansion of hot gas but once the hot gas cools it will you're back to sqaure one. It does not work.

  • That's so cool.

I have heard of this technique, but never seen it before.

    Total radness dudes :) .

  • all he did was set the beed it's not fixed still needs air if you dont have a pump you are still fucked.

  • someone please explain the science behind this....

  • @AANate007 the explosion of ether expands the tire enough to set the bead. once you have done that you need to quickly get air too it. oh n me n my dads done that before on a semi tire :):)

  • that is pretty slick-didn't know you could do that. Don't know if I'd try it though.

  • Norwegians at its best!^^

  • It broke again at the end

  • That's a tire, not a wheel

  • I thought you were supposed to use ether and not butane.

  • skills!

  • that was cool

  • i once tried this , it was good but its just that now i dont have any hair on my head as i was thrown 50 feet away ! else everything went well !

  • @guntrano you, my good sir, are probably the rare soul who could injure himself buttering bread. Leave this to the professional rednecks

  • watch?v=iSDPHjo1zRU&NR=1 so...ur video or not??

  • @Boolundu69 This is my video, and "pickles210" has obviously stolen my videoclip!

  • if you've ever done a tire mount using gas and a lighter, youuuu might be a redneck!

  • This is also the way to take a big risk to get a tire put on.

  • Its a true story, thats the way you can do "tire stretching"

  • That's a nice truck!

  • haha thats sooo awesome!!!

  • that's ether (starting fluid), not butane. butane isn't flammable enough to do that.

  • @spacemouseband butane is very flammable.

  • Hey! I like that! What a neat idea, so thumbs up in my opinion :o)

  • DONT , leave high lift jack lever in the down position,!

  • .... dude that's so awesome

  • is that true?

  • wtf?

  • I use to own a flat-fixing shop, dealing mainly with BIG tires .... roadgraders (some countries call them motor patrols), log trucks, log skidders, 18-wheelers, etc. This IS a legitimate method of mounting an extremely stubborn tubeless tire, but highly dangerous. There's no danger from fire, since the ether is consumed in an instant. But it CAN cause the tire to blow up in your face, but only rarely. But it does work. You just have to be fast & get some air inside after the explosion.

  • what is the exact amount of spray to use? I've seen people use a lot or in this video just a little. I've seen people try this out on the trails but never works. Also what exactly is happening causing the tire to seat?

  • That could be extremely dangerous, I doubt that's enough heat to cause the rubber in the tire to undergo pyrolysis, but hey, shit happens.

Pyrolysis is when a substance decomposes and produces heat.. it's what causes tires to explode after you weld on wheels, people have died :p

  • Norway! :D

  • L'explosion provoque une expansion de l'air se qui rassis le pneu sur le rime

  • looks like it unseated right after..

  • can someone explain how this works? i know it doesnt pump up the tire but how does it force the bead back on so fast?

  • I have always heard about this but never seen it, nice

  • The guy who did it must felt like a badass..

  • jeg så først det var fra norge da jeg hørte en sa faen.

kul måte å fikse dekk på!!

  • It's what truckers do when mounting tires. Spray some ether around the wheel, light it up, fill it with some air, bam! The good use of technology.. Now if you were to use this method on a car tire thats the size of a donut, it will either blow up, or you will most likely need to let out a lot of air.

  • woohoo now the tire is back on! lets stand there and just watch it deflate

  • lol tyre. its tire!

  • @rinconsurfers its also tyre.

  • sweet!

  • that tricks been around for ever u can use anything ether also works good

  • Cool party trick :D

  • Ive done that b4 when i debeded my Chevy duramax i had some starting fluid and re beaded the rim!

  • that was pretty cool

  • but after u do that u stil have to use compressed air to get it to the right air pressure

  • this is only done if the tire wont go back into place with just the compressed air.

n yes i know about this kind of stuff since i run a place where they fix tires

  • Nice lol.

  • My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years by the German BND which is the renamed GESTAPO. He was assassinated on July 11th 2009 because of our homepage linked on my channel.

    Martin Bott

  • I used this technique a lot working in a truck stop in the 1970's. We stopped it because there were a number of instances of uncombusted gas igniting on the highway and blowing the tires up and killing people.

  • @klard LOL thats a pretty big fuck up if you ask me

  • swedish technique

  • sure doesn't look like a "butane gas" canister

    looks like ether to me

  • cool video. does this procedure work on bicycle tire? just thought it be cool to try haha

  • you can use brake fluid too!

  • I've done this with 4whlr tires using starting fluid. Works!

  • ok so how does this work...this is AWSOME

  • nice.....but i would have hd a flame on a 30 foot pole to touch it off......ha ha

  • Yeah, cause I'd really bother to do special effects for a youtube video of a 4WD in the woods.. :P

  • @ClownWatcher

It's hardly fake. I've done it only using ether. Works great. Just make sure you have the tire off the ground. Otherwise, you risk explosion.

  • @ClownWatcher Man, it's idiots like you that come on youtube and think they know everything. I do this trick all the time! It's not faked. Theres no editing in it dumbass!

  • @ClownWatcher ur a dumbass this is very real btw i have done it multiple times myself but with smaller tires

  • @ClownWatcher You actually said "dumb combynation" I think fat kids who sit on Youtube all day is dumb.

  • lol its not a working solution but its cool

  • It's a working solution if you drain it, and then fill it up with a compressor. It puts the tyre back on the rim, that's the point of it :-)

  • @stx02 how does it work? I mean, what are the mechanics behind the phenomenon?

  • @stx02 its called seating the bead if you wanna be technical :p

  • Comment removed

  • @stx02 why would you have to drain it first? All the times we've down this with fourwheelers, we just pump it up and go

  • thats pretty cool

  • You still have to pump it up after. This isn't a fix-and-drive-off solution.

  • @100021861 but u get the tire on his place like this

  • Explosion results in a minimal pressure, you can't drive on it

  • its better than what he had before!!!

  • It sure is, LOL

  • This is my own video, and there's really only one copy of it on youtube.. It's also done as right as it can be, cause you have to replace pressure from the explosion with air in any case - whether it's ether or not.

  • Comment removed

  • you talk rubish man! i have also seen this video posted under many different names. try typing 'Inflate a Tire with Liquid Fire TRICK'. exact same video posted by another person. besides that its also on google videos.

  • @stx02 Weather it's your vid or not, there is like 6 copies of it on youtube, I stumbled upon it 3 mins ago in a different vid, under a different name. And i've seen it in a few compilations.

  • @stx02 Hey Mate, is this your truck? I'm keen to know where you got your fender flares from? What make are they?

  • @FordManREDNECKK then stop watching them dumb ass

  • Wow , That was amazing, good thing to know :)

  • Works great! I use this technique at times, but you gotta be quick with the air hose to keep the flames that are still burning inside the tire from consuming all the oxygen and causing the tire to drop right back off the bead again..

  • Not consumption of oxygen ... temperature difference.

  • Probably best done only when your stuck in the bush, but a handy technique to know just in case. Nice One.

  • we used to do that all the time in the shop.... we're not supposed to anymore because if you use to much ether the tire can explode! just letting everyone know that in case you decide to try it.

  • if u used to mucch what ?? ether ?? whats that .. i am a fob so... that why im askin

  • Ether is a starting aid for diesel engines... it's highly flammable like butane, it's what i've always used on tires... same basic thing though.

  • that dude is fucking BAD-ASS

  • I seen a guy do this to his quad tire in the mountain trails. i thought it was sweet

  • it works i tryed it once

  • thats cool but it sounds like it leaked out anyway

  • have to follow immediately with air. the explosion just sets the bead

  • it is ether

  • genius

  • what a fuck!!!!!!

  • badass! but is it gonna be hard enough?

  • whats that hissing at the end?

    is the air letting out?

  • that was cool!!!

  • hahaha badass!

  • i done that before

  • When will they invent a automatic tyre changer like in Demolition Man...?

  • improvising? tricks? people honestly. its no trick, very simple and useful "TOOL" i study automotive devolopment and design and that was the first thing of a long list of quick fit "TOOLS" to help while in a sticky situation.

  • Yup things like that are very handy to take.

  • Its a great trick, but if you dont have ether, a tie down strap around the tire works.

  • lol minted

  • ive done this before lmfao

  • amazing idea!

  • old school!..pass the gas plz!=)

  • waaaiiit a minute, what just happend?

  • - He sprayed the gas into the tire.

    - He lit the gas with a flame

    - The gas expanded, making the tire fit on the rim!

  • but you better book it to wherever you need to go. when the gas cools the tire will go flat again.

  • This is only to make the tire fit onto the rim so that you can pump it up.

You wouldn't drive on just that, only use it to make the tire pop back onto the rim again.

Then, you quickly pump it up the conventional way & you are good to go!

  • hell of alot o' pumpin! xD

  • Not for me.

    I have a 12V electric pump.

  • its because if you use to much accelorant it will continue to burn and the only oxygen is inside the tire therefore makin it go flat. but atleast the tire is still on the bead

  • You dont get much more redneck than that.

  • @SASCartman actually you can :D

  • I wouldn't call it redneck......more along the lines of..... improvise adapt and overcome.......lol

  • Improvise adapt and overcome..... with a Can of Butaine, Fire and some YEEEEHARRR!!.

    Hahaha

  • well....it whatever works right?? lol

  • Haha, Indeed my friend.

  • wait, did he put the fluid on the edge of the rim, or the center? i can only see how it would work if he used the center...

  • mmm yeah... weird..

  • very very cool

  • that is awesome.

looks like sumthing that comes out of hollywood

  • Man that rig dosnt have much flex up front.

Good vid tho. Alot of stuff works. I jsut beaded mine up the other week using wd-40. Works the same. I coulda simply popped my compressor on and let it bead but the kids wanted a show 0.o

  • awesome! more graphic than my vid, chek it out!

  • hahaha nice!

  • Nice didnt kno that trick nicely done!

  • He looks like a pro. Very nicely done.

  • Isn't that WD40?

I've seen this video before, you copied the title wrong/

  • It's not WD40. I think they used butane-gas, but it might be starting fluid as well. It's my video, so it's not copied, but I changed the title a bit at some point.. :)

  • Its ether.

  • hmm weird. how dos that work?

  • it uses the expanding gases of the explosion. I've done it a few times myself. it beats holding the bead with rope.

  • pritty cool!

  • That was pretty cool!

  • either not gas.

  • thats cool we did that yesterday to one of r three wheeler tires 5 star

  • Vary well done

  • pretty slick,, dangerous,, but slick.

  • yoda?

  • is it crc that u are using?

  • thats what i do at the farm i work at when we change semi tires. i use starting fluid, and a paper towel on a broom handle....we call it the "suicide" cuz of the big ass bang it makes

  • sweet!!

  • OMG

  • HAHAHA AWESOME DUDE!!!!!!!

  • what spray do you use to do that

  • yyou just put a nozzle like from some shoe cleaner on it

  • Starting fluid is most common. You have to have something with Ether. Ether is what does it it makes an explotion in the tire and does that.

  • you dont have to use ether, just anything flammable, whats happening is the burning of the gas causes the air in the tire to expand rapidly, and the tire makes the seal before the air can escape

  • how does that work!?

  • ROLFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LMAO Real rednecks right there. Old truck mudding. House jack. Something flamable/explosive. And Fire.

  • listen to their voices, they sound european of some sort.. not redneck, that truck might be old, but obviously thats what they have it for.. and thats not a house jack..

  • O might be I don't have my speakers hooked up to my computer right now. But that has to be a house jack. Looks just like my brother in laws house jack.

  • it's called a bumper jack.....

  • its called a high lift jack

  • a "farm jack"

  • just look at the liscense plate, it is definitely not from the U.S. also, a house jack would be more advantageous due to how abnormally high offroad trucks are set and how they may fall into deep ditches.

  • Norwegians

  • No, its Norwegian

  • Norwegian

  • Norwegian

  • haha let the bold guy do it =P

  • vooo:)

  • wtf?!

  • thats starter fluid....not butane

  • Thanks for the massive response ;)

It's real, absolutely. I hadn't seen it before either, so it was quite surprising! Very cool, and handy trick!

  • is this shit real?

  • that was pretty fast

  • got experience have you? its as real as you are really a massive knob head

  • You're fake.
