Whether it be through being taught from when they were young, or someone that's never believed in God or has never felt/seen Him but WANTS to seek him, God's revelation comes to us in one way or another. Trust me, it's hard (the walk in Christ), but it is beyond worth it.

@Cepesh Let's establish that God is the judge of all creation. He must judge all sins. By one man's sin (adam) all are made sinners, which is UNFAIR. However, by one Man's obedience, Jesus, all are made rigtheous. (Romans 5:19) God has made it unfairly good! We are sinners because of Adam's sin that we didn't commit, but Jesus, who knew NO SIN, came down to set us free from sins we commit, past, present future. It's free for us to recieve this gift of forgiveness, but it cost Jesus His life.

If, per chance, you die in your sins because you refuse to repent, then God will allow you to endure His righteous punishment, namely Hell, based on the commandments you personally have broken(ie the ten commandments). He punished His perfect son,Jesus, who willingly died in your place.

Christianity is the name of the faith, but there are many denominations. such as catholic, methodist, mormons, baptists, etc. They are all christians because they believe in Christ as the only way to God, and heaven. any one else may not be true christian believers.
Sometimes I struggle with the temptations of today, I get frustrated with people but God has given me great wisedom and has taught me courage and restraint. He has told me that his angels watch over all protecting us from harm, we always see the dark e.g. the devil and demons but we don't always see the angels and our Lord who is fighting for us.

God said to marry; having sex and children out of wedlock is wrong without the anchor of wedlock; the children suffer. I had a child out of wedlock and she suffers not having a dad and I suffer not helping raise her. I thought it was okay to go against God and do what I thought was right. It wasn't and I've suffered ever since.

I'm not Christian, but I grew up with these songs, and I can appreciate the hope and love they instill in others. Don't judge; if you're not Christian, move on. Religion can be some people's saving grace. If it's not for you, why down their Lifestyle just because it's not your own? And the same goes vice-versa. These songs are about love. So let's not ruin it by arguing.

@Cepesh Let's establish that God is the judge of all creation. He must judge all sins. By one man's sin (adam) all are made sinners, which is UNFAIR. However, by one Man's obedience, Jesus, all are made rigtheous. (Romans 5:19) God has made it unfairly good! We are sinners because of Adam's sin that we didn't commit, but Jesus, who knew NO SIN, came down to set us free from sins we commit, past, present future. It's free for us to recieve this gift of forgiveness, but it cost Jesus His life.

If, per chance, you die in your sins because you refuse to repent, then God will allow you to endure His righteous punishment, namely Hell, based on the commandments you personally have broken(ie the ten commandments). It's your sin and you can't blame Adam. Enforcing the consequences for for breaking the law is not revenge. God offers you a pardon. He punished His perfect son,Jesus, who willingly died in your place.

A "good hard working" person who helped build an orphanage ,for example, but avoids paying his taxes will still pay the penalty despite the hard work and charity. It's NOT about following the "teachings of the church" it is about following Jesus himself. Repentance is not about saying your super-sorry. Its about laying down your will altogether in light of the price HE paid for all your sins

Sometimes I struggle with the temptations of today, I get frustrated with people but God has given me great wisedom and has taught me courage and restraint. He has told me that his angels watch over all protecting us from harm, we always see the dark e.g. the devil and demons but we don't always see the angels and our Lord who is fighting for us.

@shncsr Christians do not say the Messiah is the son of Allah. They say Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God. Allah and the God of Jews and Christians are not the same person. Allah is not God, he is Satan's counterfeit god. That is why Islam says 'Peace'; but spreads hate. If you study the Bible's end times prophecies, you will see how well Islam fits the one world religion of the end times. Muslims are helping the end times come sooner by suppressing the world's other religions.

@TheRealityofNature Of course you are trying to shape the argument to your liking. If I use the same tactic my question to you is "If no one had sex, how much AIDS would spread? Answer none." Just as you can't get everyone to abstain from sex, you can't get everyone to use protection. Your argument is foolhardy. And your opinion is just one opinion in a world that has more than enough. My opinion is God is an awesome God.

Its not a matter of right and wrong, it's a matter in what you believe in and what you have faith in. Hitler wasnt a bad person. Every human being has sinned. We've all come short of the glory of God, even Christians. we have a choice to accept the gift and surrender to him..and he never says we have to. Why argue? its confusing people. and Christians don't argue! Just kindly explain your faith, and let the other do the same but let THEM make their own choice. Thats their right. Don't force

Actually Christians are supposed to warn people of the coming judgment and inform them that accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior is the only faith that will save them. What someone believes makes all the difference in the world. But you're right that we can't force them to believe.

@dustisalliam if youre a Christian that knows the bible, youd know that every ones a equal sinner God used Hitler to pave the way for something, (same as he did with the Jews did the physical part of Jesus' death)
Most great people in the Bible (not Jesus) were usually at first murderers or something equal but God didn't see them as bad people- He still used them
As for Hitler -> "Those who've no sin, must cast the first stone"
anyways, it only matters what you and I do

@TheRealityofNature You still are trying to shape the argument so you can not lose, thereby saving face. If people live by God's standard they will not have sex until marriage and will not have sex outside of marriage. Thus the false security of unprotected sex is a mute point. It is not fallacious to suggest unmarried sex spreads disease. But to suggest its okay for everyone to have loose morals and then suggest that everyone's morals should be high enough to include protected sex is ludicrous.

@TheRealityofNature In order to win an argument, you are trying to steer the debate to a one sided standard, yours. I am married and there is no way I could have spread AIDS or STDs while I was married because I have been faithful to God and my wife.
What fuzzy is trying to tell you is God sets the rules because He knows what is best for people. If you don't want to live by His rules then take your chances until your time is up.

@TheRealityofNature No, that's not what I'm saying. Married people are capable of spreading AIDS, but the majority of the damage is done when one person with AIDS spreads it to many other people. You are twisting what I've said to what you want me to have said. People living together and having children is a wonderful thing; I never said it wasn't.

God says it is wrong, He calls it fornication and rates it right up there with murder, homosexuality, etc. I used to prefer living together until a woman I wanted to have sex with told me to look fornication up in the Bible. I did using a concordance and it changed my life. But not before I caused a wonderful little girl to be born. I miss her all the time because I wanted to live together

@dustisalliam No, God does not say that having children is wrong. God wants us to have children, but he wants two people to be married before they have children or or that which leads to them.

@fuzzyviolinist I was noting that people living together and having children out of wedlock is wrong. God said to multiply, hard to do if you don't have children. God said to marry; having sex and children out of wedlock is wrong without the anchor of wedlock; the children suffer. I had a child out of wedlock and she suffers not having a dad and I suffer not helping raise her. I thought it was okay to go against God and do what I thought was right. It wasn't and I've suffered ever since.

@TheRealityofNature it doesn't matter if a significant fraction does it. Enough do it to spread AIDS. An maybe not in some countries, but some countries are very bad. I think you have not done research. You don't know. My point is, God isn't making this happen. We are.

Hey everyone, we could really use your prayers! My sister was murdered 3 years ago and nothing was ever done about it. My parents and I take care of her children and now my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. I wrote a song about my sister to try to raise awareness to our cause of a closer investigation to her death (there is a link in the video, we dont want money or your information) I know the Lord can help but we really need your prayers!
