  • hi eric, do i have to become a member to watch the videos? get back to me when you can, thanks!

  • wow... you've come so far since the first time i watched some of your vids. Really nice to see that! Keep up the good work.

  • Hi. My name is Josh and I have a question. I have a 7 week old blue pitbull and I was wondering if you had some tips to try and help to train him.

  • Sorry to hear your beloved Sammi passed on 8/15 or 8/16.

18 yrears of love and loyal service - its hard to lose a best friend!

I believe pets are a blessing of Love from God!

I miss all the pets that I've had over the years that God has blessed me with.

From the Porsche the cat that passed at 19 years old, Jamie the Shepard/Lab that we had to put down after only 10 and LittleBit, my travelling cat who was taken too soon (only 3) when he was hit by a car.

    All the best!

  • Thank you for sharing your loss with us, as you share your knowledge and talents. I find that nothing helps when I lose one of my dogs - nothing but time and the support of friends. You were blessed with Sammi, as we all are with our beloved dogs.

  • sorry for your loss , its really hard to loss a dog and its like losing a friend

  • im sorry about your dog i know the pain when i lost my dog

  • Erick, Im very happy about you loved Sammy so much, and i bet she loved you the same, sorry she is not longer with us, but i bet that is dog, a friend, family, that you will never forget, so she WILL remain with you all your life.

  • Eric, I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't know how I'm going to cope when it comes that time for my dogs. They are just like my children.

We all know how much you loved her!

  • Eric, I value your emails about dog training. Mine and my dogs lives are better because of you and Sammi. God comfort you during your grieving for her. In Him, Nancy

  • Eric...I'm so sorry to hear about your friend and constant companion of 18 years. I know you miss Sammi terribly...just a huge void and I know you Sammi everywhere you look. It hurts but will turn to fond memories of your wonderful friend. Sammi lived a long wonderful life and is happy at Rainbow Bridge and will wait for you there...Hugs Eric...

  • So sorry for your loss.

  • I'm sorry to her that Sammi passed away. It's always a sad time when a dog dies. However, the trick with the tissues was a very cool one!

  • Sorry for the loss, sammie lived a very long life according to dog years. I am sure she is now under God's good care.

  • Sorry to read about your loss. I'm sure Sammi was special.

  • Sorry about your loss. I wish their life span was longer. You must be a wonderful owner for her to have lived 18 years. I imagine she was as happy as she was healthy.

  • What a terrific loss. It's wonderful that you immortalized Sammi on the videos. We will continue to watch her, and hope you will find some comfort in the fact that she continues to help dogowners learn to be gentle with their dogs.

  • I have always enjoyed watching Sammi. Sorry for your loss. Best Wishes

  • So sorry for your loss - Sammi was a beautiful dog

  • lol cool trick, sorry about your dog, 18 years was a good run.

  • is the video not working for anyone else?

  • its so sad the sammi passed away. But it was clear the he lived a happy life with you. I hope everyone has the relationship you and sammi have..including me. Thanks for everything sammi. I'll miss you.

  • I'm so sorry to hear Sammi passed away this weekend. Love this video. Adorable! I was trying to think of some unique tricks to teach my 4 month old border collie who has already mastered; sit, down, stay, come, no, fetch, roll over and has even started herding ducks among other things. This tissue trick sounds fun! And, yes, our Lucy is a strict positive reinforcement girl. Could do all 10 requirements for CGC test at just 12 wks of age (except staying when I left the room). Love your stuff!

  • Sorry for your loss.

  • r.i.p. sammi!

  • Eric, So sorry for your loss. I am sure she will be sorely missed.

  • no doubt she wants to be ur smartest dog dude , border collies are the most intelligent !

  • Sammi? Oh men,, i'm sorry about you = ( really really sorry!! is terrible when our beloved dog friends are gone to rest, because we miss them in an incredible way...

  • Eric She is a product of your patience and love and training. I am so sorry for your loss.

I hope she is showing off her talents in Heaven and waiting for you.

Thanks for all your demonstrations Sammi

  • tell me please how to teach my dog how to fetch a tissue!!!!!

  • i wish u could show us how u let the dog do it eric,it would be very useful

  • Would be good if you could learn what negative reinforcement really means. It is not correction chains or pinch collars. You are talking about positive punishment. You obviously don't understand the 4 quadrants of dog training theory.

  • Oh, are you talking about PR-positive reinforcement, NP-Negative punishment, PP-Positive punishment and NR-Negative reinforcement? Did you ever think that most people watching the videos don't really care about the technical parts of training. That they just want practical training solutions.

I could easily talk about successive approximation, extinction bursts and other technical mumbo jumbo but instead I just try to help people train their dogs.

  • eric, don't care for such a loser.people always want to criticise, they can go to hell. hehehe

  • I'm sorry...but ownt! On a different note I actually am learning a lot from watching his videos! While the dogs I have is getting on in years my family and I made a lot of mistakes when training him and I can not only hear a few good ways of teaching a dog but I can actually see some demonstrations and some results.

Thanks to these videos I feel a lot more confident about how I will train a dog of my own someday.

  • i'm just a jealous guy (rip lennon)

  • Really nice video! It would be nice if the video was a little clearer (photo quality), but overall a nice, simple introduction to the positive side of training!

  • makes alot of sense for positive reinforcement - should be applied to humans as well. sammys great!

  • You are so right about humans and thanks for your kind words about Sam.

    Best,

    Eric

  • Yes,How do you do it? I am very impressed ! :|

  • Thank you. I am in the process of putting together some vidoes that show step by step how I do this. They will be on my website: AmazingDogTrainingMan dot com.

    Best,

    Eric

  • that was so cool how do you do that sneeze thing?
